New City Launched

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid al-Nahayan (left), information and culture minister of the United Arab Emirates, joins Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat in laying the cornerstone yesterday for the UAE-financed city of Zaid, to be built in the Gaza Strip at a cost of $250 million.
