Dear PITA members,

This is to update you on the latest news regarding new actions taken to help
solve the importing problems facing the Palestinian companies.

The Investment Promotion committee assigned Paltrade to start an action
campaign regarding the above mentioned problem, Paltrade in turn consulted a
Palestinian Lawyer from "Israel" to asked him to file a case in the Higher
Israeli court.

in order to finance the case and to pay the lawyer, Paltrade opened the door
for donations and collected $27000 as a fund to follow up this case till the
court issues a decision to stop the Israeli actions that oppose the WTO
agreements regarding free trade.

The lawyer will also prepare a paper of all Israeli trade violations to be
presented in the next WTO conference, which will take place in Qatar next
November.

PITA is calling its members especially those who are facing such problems to
contribute to this campaign by donating to the Paltrade fund so as to keep
this campaign active and to put an end to the Israeli violations.
