first E-Commerce web site in Palestine has been launched
The Internet represents a tremendous
opportunity for business, whether you’re a budding entrepreneur looking
to market and sell your great new idea or a large corporation searching
for new ways to increase sales. But selling goods and services on the
Internet presents its own set of challenges in setting up and maintaining
a secure, reliable, and cost-effective system for authorizing payment and
managing transactions. If you don't know what you’re doing -and even if
you do- addressing the nuts and bolts of e-commerce can be difficult,
complicated, and expensive. We at P-I-S.com have accepted the challenge and after eleven months of hard work, agony and frustration, we are extremely proud to present the first complete E-commerce web site in Palestine, www.anewdomain.net. This state of the art web site utilizes the state of the art technology of the Internet age. Anewdomain.net is a web site that specializes in registering both gTLD (.com, .net, .org) and ccTLD (.co.uk, org.uk, etc…) and provides hosting services. When you first enter the web site you will be introduced by Flash 5 web page. This talent for building Flash 5 functionality was developed in- house with the help of Macromedia University http://macromedia.elementk.com. We were able to compact the film introduction to under 100 Kb which is by all standards is an achievement. Once you enter you will be able to register the following: com, net, org, co.uk. org.uk, ca, tv, cc, vc, Pre register the following: name, info, biz, and purchase 128 bit SSL digital web certificates for the first time outside the USA and Canada, and soon multilingual domain names. After you have searched for the domain of your choice and are ready to register it, your browser will be connect to the registration server via 128-bit SSL tunnel. This will insure that information entered beyond this point is encrypted. When you are ready to pay for the domain or hosting package you have purchased you will have used. for the first time in Palestine, an on-line and live payment processing system that will authorize / decline the charges in a whopping speed -average response time was less than 14 seconds-. All of this will give you the ability to register the domain of your choice and use the credit card of your choice on a system that was developed entirely by Palestinians in Palestine. Pay us a visit and if you like it please tell others. If you don't, please let us know at comments@anewdomain.net.
