All,

Both PITA and DAI have worked hard to establish a good working relationship.
Differences of opinion are only natural and this is not the way to go about
addressing these differences. If Mashhour has some reservations with
regards to the LOAs then DAI and PITA must sit and reach middle ground. I
strongly object to the manner with which this thread started and hope to
avoid it in the future.

I suggest that you meet and discuss the LOA, have it signed and proceed with
the numerous tasks we already have at hand.

Only my personal opinion,
Khaled

Irene,
Definitely, I for one, it was not at all made clear to me by; otherwise
there was no need for me to go and revise the LOAs and start writing email
msgs all over the place! Especially I get two or three daily calls for
people asking for their cash. Also its not acceptable to PITA that money is
paid to clients directly! I know this is not to do with you but to do with
the others listening. But even so I could have signed just to close a gap in
our cash flow, I also had the impression that I need to go and get the BoD
approve the annual plan before we pay the Grand Park which is not right and
I am sure that I have mentioned this to you and you did not react to correct
me. You even did not till me that the cheques are ready and conditional to
my initials I was completely in the dark!

Regards
Mashhour Abudaka

Mashour,

Just to make things clear, there was no reason for me to stop any payment
for PITA. The only reason I stopped payment is because you refused to sign
the LOA due to a technical reason. Remember when I told you that Omar is
the right person to talk to since he's the Portfolio Manager because I
have nothing to do with the technical part.

Just for you to know, when you came in to MAP office with the backup
documentation in hand, the check was ready and signed before I got the
backup docs, but I didn't give it to you because you refused to sign the
LOAs.

Hope this is clear to everybody.

Thanks,
Irene

BOARD, FYI

Finally, Omar is up-set a success story for the day!
Omar, Even if I signed all LOAs as you have left with Irene, my
understanding that Irene would have not given PITA the money as I told you
yesterday, this is because of the condition you attached to them, this what
have prompted my revision of all bending LOAs now and will certainly do in
the future!
I must repeat here that me not signing the LOAs was not the cause for
delaying the payments! This is CCed to Irene for confirmation.
Also Said is CCed since it will involve DAI and PITA policy and relation
revision and I can also confirm that we are still a team but could involve
each fighting for his corner in the same room! Definitely no personal hard
feelings.
The good thing about new website which you have paid for, you can't send
msgs for board@pita because I have bared you from doing so, I let you, for
the time being send/receive to members@pita but could stop this as well if
you do not keep cool and nice to me and to PITA in general! This is what I
call utilizing aid money for ones own agenda.
Regards
Mashhour Abudaka

Dear Mashhour;

I have received your 2 emails on the LOAs of the website & Directory and
the Strategic Planning workshop.

In my original emails to you, I CCed Irene and Said because it involved
payments authorizations. You have the right not to sign anything you don't
like, but It's funny that you CC the board, Said & Irene on such
operational matters, maybe you should start CCing members@pita for all of
our emails.

It's funny that in your meeting with Said & I, there was a cash crisis in
PITA that we -at MAP- need to be dynamic in our rules to secure payments,
and then you return the LOAs not signed for non-relevant wordings.

It's funny that you require that you should get the LOA drafts before hand,
although they were sent to you earlier with no response (please check your
email )

It's funny that you require changes in the LOAs that (those changes) would
simply prevent me from getting approval on payments. Now, if you don't
understand why they're there, then you ought to ask on their relevance
before stopping the LOA and ask to remove them. (e.g. the CLIN)

It's funny that you demand to negotiate LOAs before the activities are
done, since this is our demand that PITA claims to be "unnecessary paper
work"

It's funny that we have to waste our times on done-activities instead of
working on LOAs to come.

Mashhour, I'm starting to get sick of the song that MAP is "not acting
promptly" and that MAP require so many "un-necessary things that PITA
doesn't have the resources to do". We either do this as a team or we simply
don't.

Omar
