RE: isp mailing list

If PITA is to be the leader of IT in Palestine, PITA has to act and seen to be the home for all potential members and non-members a like. I hope the day is near when we host mailing lists like ITSIG …..etc PITA is their natural home. Think about it, these services are offered free of charge from international IT institutions. This can feed will in our image building, contribute to establishing good PITA lobby in future policy advocacy and will assist our IT awareness programme. Members can benefit from many of our other services, which will not be open to others.

Dear Bassem & Board;

It's good to have you back in Palestine.

I do not think that we should include non-members ISP in this group. Just for 1 reason, all ISPs, with all respect, they are just using PITA when they want to. Promises, Promises, and they never joined PITA. So, why we should give them the benefit of the doubt?

Hamza

Dear All,

I'm Back in Gaza, after 50 days of being stuck outside for many reasons.

I will be leaving again on Sunday for a training course in Italy from May
6 - 16 2001.

I look forward to seeing you all (in person or over the phone) on Saturday
at 5pm.

As for the ISP mailing list, I think it is a good idea to have such a list
as this might be a step closer to showing them the benefits of PITA and
membeship.

It also helps us in the future with ISP related issues (IF WE WANT TO KEEP
THIS ISSUE ON THE HOT BURNER).

Regards to All.

Bassem
