Military communiqué by Qassam Brigades

Our proud Palestinian people … our Arab and Islamic Ummah:

With the grace of Allah the Qassam Brigades declare responsibility for the armed attack against a convoy of Zionist occupation vehicles grouping settlers and soldiers along the road between the so-called settlements of Ely Sinai and Nesanit to the north of Gaza Strip on Sunday 17^th Ramadan 1422H – 2/12/2001AD.

Those who launched the attach were the two heroes:

Martyr / Maslama Ibrahim Al-A’raj nicknamed Abu Ibrahim, 20, from Gaza city

Martyr / Jihad Hamdy Al-Masri nicknamed Abu Ibrahim, 17, from village of Beit Lahya

Our Mujahid Palestinian masses:

Our Mujahideen have trodden on the false myth of Zionist security when they penetrated all Zionist security precautions and reached training trenches of the Zionist army inside the settlement and launched an attack from those trenches then they got out and stood in mid of the road with their machineguns and started firing at the enemy vehicles that fled the scene.

Our proud Palestinian masses:

Our operation today affirms the following:

1- It was a natural retaliation by a people slaughtered day and night and whose dignity is being humiliated by the Zionist enemy’s war machine.

2- This is not the revenge for martyr Mahmoud Abu Hannoud and the other martyrs and our Brigades will soon launch that revenge Insha’allah.

3- The American administration’s General did not come to the region to ask the Zionists to evacuate our lands but rather came believing that our people will be satisfied with less than liberation of their usurped lands … he is only dreaming.

And it is a Jihad until either victory or martyrdom
