Occupation crimes against our people continue

The Zionist terrorist authority committed yet another heinous crime when it arrested two Mujahideen from the Qassam Brigades on Sunday 1/7/2001 during an armed clash at the ring road to the east of the town of Qabatiya. Eyewitnesses said that the Mujahideen:

The commander hero Mahmoud Mousa Sulaiman Khalil (Abu Musa’ab)

And

The commander hero Jamal Daifallah Hassan Thulaiji (Abu Dia’)

were arrested alive. The contradiction in the Zionist stories on the two martyrs affirmed the fact that they were detained alive. After the wide media coverage of the incident their bodies were referred to Abu Kabir clinic for autopsy, which was made with the participation of a Scot and a Palestinian doctors on Tuesday 24/7/2001. At a late night hour their bodies were handed over with the clear signs of torture visible on both that distorted their faces and that was proved in the preliminary autopsy reports. All available factors point without any reasonable doubt that the Zionist occupation was involved in liquidating both martyrs days after their arrest where they faced cruel investigation to extract any possible confessions from them.

We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, hold the Zionist entity fully responsible for liquidating the martyrs and affirm that their blood along with the blood of all Palestine martyrs will not be wasted. We pledge to the two martyrs and to all our people that the intifada will persist along the road of Jihad and resistance until liberation … God willing.

We also ask all legal and humanitarian institutions to embark on serious moves to expose the occupation forces’ crimes and practices and to reveal the conditions and circumstances that engulfed past crimes against our people’s Mujahideen and strugglers.
