Commenting on the return of brother  Ibrahim Ghoushe to his country Jordan safe and sound, all praise be to Allah, and the settlement of the crisis of his deportation and detention via direct contacts between the Jordanian authorities and the Movement and despite our reservations towards the unjustified method of executing that settlement: his travel to Bangkok then his return to Jordan, in violation of the agreement signed between the Jordanian authorities and the Movement, the Movement’s political bureau affirms the following:

First: The return of  brother Ghoushe to his country Jordan laid the foundation for a comprehensive solution to the crisis, which we hope would be soon Insha’allah in harmony with the constitution, law and citizenship rights in addition to uniting the Arab and Islamic ranks in confrontation of the Zionist enemy whose terrorist leader Sharon is waging a ferocious war against our Palestinian people.

Second: Brother Ibrahim Ghoushe is still occupying his post in the Movement as member in its political bureau. The halt in his activity in the name of the Movement is limited to the Jordanian arena only.

Third: The Movement’s political bureau extends its thanks and appreciation to all of our Jordanian-Palestinian people, the parties, syndicates and national and Islamic figures for their stands and solidarity with the Movement and its deportees’ issue. It also thanks and appreciates the official and popular Arab leaders and leaderships that exerted efforts and mediation bids to solve that crisis. We would like to mention specifically here the leaders of Yemen, Libya and the Sudan along with the Arab League’s secretary general. We extend special thanks to the state of Qatar, its Emir, government and people, for their generous hospitality accorded to Eng. Ghoushe and his brothers.
