Communiqué by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)

All praises to Allah, the Patron of patient believers, the One Who glorifies believers and humiliates atheists, and peace be upon His Messenger, his companions and followers.

“Think not of those who are slain in Allah's Way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the Presence of their Lord;”

In a qualitative martyrdom operation that smashed the Zionist security barriers despite intensified Zionist security presence the martyr hero:

Fadi Atallah Yousef Amer, 23 years old,

From the city of Qalqilya launched a martyrdom operation that led to the killing and injuring of scores of Zionists near the Israeli military barrier to the west of Qalqilya.

Yes our heroic martyr has left us, but his memory remains live in our hearts, minds and among the people. You have always been a model for the well-behaved Muslim who is enthusiastic for his religion and his country. All those who saw you described you as the living martyr. Your talk was mostly about love of martyrdom and defense of the country. You joined the convoy of martyrs after a march of sacrifice under the banner of your movement Hamas, the banner of right, strength and freedom.

All those who saw you loved you, your brothers, neighbors, mosque goers and colleagues in the open Quds University where you used to study.

Your blood will remain a torch that illuminates the road of dignity, pride and freedom for the coming generations and will remain the fire that burns the enemies and shakes the ground under their feet.

The Resistance Movement mourns with pride and honor its martyr hero Fadi Atallah Yousef Amer and vows before almighty Allah first then before our masses to remain hoisting up high the banner of Jihad and resistance until victory and liberation God willing.

In paradise may your soul rest in peace and we will remain trekking along the same road.
