In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

The holy Aqsa Intifadha

Communiqué no. (12)

The Intifadha will persist …

The enemy’s missiles and tanks do not terrorize our people

Our Mujahid Palestinian people:

Our Arab and Islamic Nation:

These are the days of Jihad, struggle and steadfastness … the days of dignity … the days of martyrs and martyrdom … the days of Palestinian, Arab and Islamic rage against Zionist aggression and occupation … the days of live Arab and Islamic people who assert each and every day that Palestine is the whole Nation’s cause and that the Aqsa is a trust on shoulders of all world Muslims who are yearning for Jihad for the sake of its liberation from usurpers’ dirt.

The savage Zionist aggression is continuing against our people, the missiles and tanks are shelling our cities and villages every day. Our people face such aggression with relentless steadfastness and insistence on persisting along the road to its final end regardless of obstacles and sacrifices at a time when the Arab summit ended up in resolutions that did not live up to our people and Nation’s requests, with due appreciation to the stands of some countries and the Saudi brothers’ support to the establishment of two funds in support of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the Aqsa and families of martyrs and wounded.

The Palestinian Authority returns to security meetings with the Zionist occupiers even before the blood of martyrs dry amidst our people’s anger and dismay towards such a step.

Our Palestinian people … our Arab and Islamic Nation … we, in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, would like to affirm the following:

First: on the Palestinian level:

1- We affirm persistence of the holy Aqsa Intifadha and its escalation with all possible means for the sake of defeating occupation, protecting Al-Quds and the Aqsa and grabbing our people’s stable rights.

2- The siege and curfew imposed by the criminal enemy’s forces are still in force for the 28th consecutive day on more than 50,000 of our heroic people in the brave city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). Thousands of greetings to those heroes and thousands of salutations to our people in that city and the surrounding villages and towns who sent food and other supplies to the besieged. We urge our people to continue supporting the besieged, to organize rallies in solidarity with them and to work for breaking the siege.

3- We hail our steadfast people in all cities, villages and refugee camps who challenged the bombardment and terrorism of the enemy’s army and challenged its herds of armed settlers, thus affirming to the world that our Mujahid people do not fear missiles or tanks.

4- We urge our people to maintain cooperation and to support families of the martyrs and wounded, meet their needs and check their conditions. We also urge them to inspect conditions of families of workers who were forced to stop working due to the enemy’s siege against our people. We beseech the rich among our people to donate with money for the assistance extended from other peoples abroad is not enough to meet the Intifadha’s requirements and repercussions.

5- We assert unity of our people including all forces and trends in confrontation with the Zionist enemy and in all Intifadha activities. We ask the PA to release all detainees in its jails immediately. It is not logical that those detainees would remain behind bars in accordance with the Authority’s security commitments to the enemy at a time when that enemy was bombing our people with missles and suspending the humiliating settlement accords.

6- We denounce the PA’s security meetings with Zionist security officers in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip under patronage and supervision of CIA security officers with the aim of aborting the Intifadha. We affirm that our people viewed such meetings with absolute dismay for bypassing blood of martyrs and wounded and ignoring our people’s will and stands.

7- We call on the PA chairman to refuse meeting with Clinton since such a meeting and its predecessors in Paris and Sharm Al-Sheikh targeted implementing American and the Jews’ demands of aborting the Aqsa Intifadha and returning to security coordination with the enemy in addition to luring the PA into accepting Barak’s dictates and conditions.

8- Hamas Movement’s keenness on national unity made it forget about the Fatah Movement’s elements recent step in Nablus when they pointed their guns at a Hamas leader during one of the marches. However, we demand the Fatah Movement to condemn such an act and punish those responsible.

9- We appeal to our people to indulge in volunteer work and help farmers in harvesting olives especially in the light of Zionist attempts to damage farmlands.

Second: on the Arab and Islamic levels:

1- We greet our Palestinian and Jordanian people who took to the streets in tens of thousands in the “Return March” in Jordan to affirm the right of return for our Palestinian people in the diaspora regardless of the lapse of time and to express solidarity with the Aqsa Intifadha and our people in the occupied homeland. We also condemn the Jordanian security bodies’ step of quelling that march and using force to disperse the marchers. We also greet the Arab and Islamic peoples and communities who maintained their campaigns of solidarity with our people and with the Aqsa and appeal to all peoples and forces to continue denouncing the Zionist massacres.

2- Results of the emergency Arab summit were disappointing to hopes of our and the Arab peoples who demanded severance of relations with the Zionist enemy, expulsion of its ambassadors and closure of the Zionist embassies and representation offices. They also called for resolutions in support of our people’s Intifadha and Jihad in face of Zionist aggression. We consider that the summit’s resolutions do not represent the Arab peoples who expressed dismay over the summit’s meager results and strongly affirmed their solidarity with our people, insistence on Al-Quds and the Aqsa and demands for opening the door of Jihad against Jewish occupiers.

3- We appreciate the Arab countries that severed relations with the enemy and closed down the Zionist representation offices. We invite Egypt and Jordan, since today 26/10 falls the anniversary of the ill-famed Wadi Araba agreement, and we ask other countries who retain abhorred ties with the enemy to respond to the masses’ demands and sever relations with that enemy, expel its ambassadors and close its embassies, which are in fact espionage and conspiracy dens.

4- We call on the Arab and Islamic media, especially the space channels, to continue in their distinctive role in covering the Aqsa Intifadha, highlighting the enemy’s crimes and covering sufferings of our people at the hands of the enemy’s gangster army and herds of settlers. We hail all media means that mobilized potentials and programs for the sake of serving the Intifadha and supporting our people.

Third: the activities:

1- Let all Fridays be days of rage and revenge in addition to roaring popular confrontations against the enemy’s army and herds of settlers and let angry marches hit the streets from all mosques following the Friday congregations.

2- We appeal to our people in Al-Quds and Palestine occupied in 1948 along with all those capable of reaching the Aqsa Mosque to head and station there. We beseech them to crowd the Mosque during prayer times to prevent the Jews from approaching it and to affirm our people and Nation’s rights in Al-Quds and the Aqsa and to prepare for defending and protecting it with blood and soul.

3- On Sunday 29/10 falls the anniversary of the tripartite aggression on Egypt and the anniversary of the Kufr Qassem massacre. Let it be a day of escalation and confrontation with the enemy and herds of settlers.

4- Allocate next Monday 30/10 as the martyr’s day during which our people would visit houses of martyrs’ families to honor them, stand by their side and express solidarity with them. Let us visit the cemeteries to recite the Fatiha for the martyrs and let photos of the martyrs be hanged everywhere out of loyalty to them and to pledge continuation along their road.

5- Let next Thursday 2/11 be a day of distinctive and comprehensive escalation on the occasion of the notorious Balfour declaration and let women and children demonstrations be organized on that day to denounce the Balfour declaration and to affirm our people’s insistence on their lands and rights.

Allahu Akbar and victory to our Mujahid people
