The declaration on resumption of negotiations

Between the PA and the Zionist enemy

Commenting on the Palestinian Authority and the Zionist enemy’s declaration on the resumption of their negotiations as of next week, a responsible source in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated the following:

This declaration coronates secret and declared meetings that did not cease one day with the Zionist entity. We have repeatedly warned against such meetings that were always denied by PA officials.

The return to the negotiating table with the criminal Zionist enemy does not in any way serve our people’s goals and higher interests. It further snubs the holy Aqsa intifada and neglects the blood of more than 300 martyrs and 18,000 wounded other than our people’s sufferings and sacrifices.

The settlement and negotiation option had taken its chance and had proven for more than seven meager years that it was a failure. Its result was more Zionist arrogance, terrorism and repression. The return to negotiating and speeding up the process at this particular time targets aborting the Aqsa intifada and helping the terrorist criminal Barak in winning the upcoming elections. It means they are betting on him anew, like in the first time, despite his past and ongoing crimes against our people. Martyrs still fall, our cities and villages are still shelled with missiles and many of our people are murdered in cold blood at the hands of Barak’s soldiers and Special Forces.

Our people have defended Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Aqsa with dear blood and they are always ready to sacrifice their sons in defense of them and of each and every inch of our blessed land. Our people will never accept that the fruit of their sons’ Jihad and blood of their martyrs be the return to the negotiating table to surrender our lands, rights and sanctities.

We urge the PA not to attend those talks and to end all forms of secret and open negotiations with the criminal enemy. We ask the Authority to halt all forms of security coordination that only serves the Zionist enemy and targets strugglers and Mujahideen groups and cadres in all Palestinian factions.

The return to negotiations with the criminal enemy will be met with anger and absolute dismay on the part of our people. Any result emanating from those negotiations would not represent our people or bind them.

The holy Aqsa intifada that united our people over the option of struggle and steadfastness calls on all to further enhance such national unity and unite the ranks in face of that criminal enemy in addition to escalating resistance and exhausting the enemy for the sake of defeating and deterring occupation along with defending our holy shrines and grabbing our rights with our own hands.
