An official source in the Hamas Movement has rejected accusations that his Movement was inciting the burning of “Tourism sites” such as liquor stores. He added that despite his Movement’s denunciation of such corruption spots, it affirmed “the Movement’s sole battle is with the Zionist occupation and its main concern is uniting all efforts in resisting Zionist terrorism and protecting our people without preoccupying itself with side battles.”

He regretted that a Fatah official and a Palestinian Authority security officer had mentioned Hamas in such incidents in an untimely attempt to smear the Movement’s image. The Hamas official underlined that the Palestinian people were facing an all-out Zionist aggression that necessitated bypassing such trivialities and concentrating on what groups the national line and not what divides it.
