The Mujahid Dr. Abdul Aziz Ranteesi
 declares a hunger strike

Dr. Abdul Aziz Ranteesi has declared a hunger strike last Sunday 14 Ramadan / 10 December to protest continuation of his detention in Palestinian Authority prisons.

The strike follows the failure of all mediation bids launched at all levels for the sake of ending his detention.

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, affirms the importance of releasing the Doctor along with all other political detainees since continuation of his detention contradicts the spirit of the intifada that spread and invigorated the Palestinian people.

The Palestinians in this intifada are the targets of the cruelest form of Zionist shelling and terrorism, the latest of which was what took place in Khan Younis the hometown of Dr. Ranteesi.

We appeal to all bodies, institutions and responsible people to exert efforts for the sake of releasing the Doctor along with other political detainees in the PA jails.
