Important appeal to the Arab
and Islamic Nation: Al-Quds is in danger

We call on our people to head in big numbers tomorrow to offer The Friday prayers at the Aqsa Mosque to assert the Muslims’ insistence on their Mosque and their preparedness to defend it

Our Palestinian people … our Arab and Islamic Nation

Real and great dangers are threatening the blessed Aqsa Mosque, the Muslims’ first Qibla and Isra’ site of prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him. The spiteful Jews will not be requite until they achieve their aggressive ambitions in destroying the Aqsa Mosque, wiping it out and building their alleged temple in its place. Their conspiracies and efforts were intensified over the past few days for this purpose. It was evident in the following:

1-The position of the enemy’s premier Ehud Barak in the ill-fated Camp David summit and his insistence on maintaining Jewish sovereignty on Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the blessed Aqsa Mosque.

2-The meeting of the Jewish rabbinate council a few days ago including the chief Rabbis of both the western and the eastern Jews to study a plan for establishment of a jewish synagogue in the Aqsa.

3-Threats by Ovadia Yossef, chief rabbi of the Shas Movement, against the Palestinian and Arabs and his racist remarks against them.

4-Conintuous threats by other rabbis such as the one to erase the Aqsa Mosque and end the Muslims control on it that extended for more than 1,400 years and the threat by Gershon Solomon, chief of the temple mount trustees’ movement to demolish the Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of the destruction of their alleged temple.

We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, call on the Arab and Islamic Nation to decisively confront such dangers, defend the Aqsa Mosque and support the Nation’s dignity, sanctities and first Qibla. We also urge our Nation’s masses to activate their stands by demanding their leaders to check such attempts, sever all ties with the Zionist enemy, expel enemy ambassadors and open the door for Jihad by training and preparing for protecting Al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war...”

We also call on our patient people to head in big numbers, men, women and children, to offer the Friday noon prayers tomorrow at the blessed Aqsa Mosque to confirm the Muslims’ insistence on their mosque and preparedness to defend it and sacrifice souls for its sake.
