As we tackle the 6th Commandment of what we have named the "10 Zionist Commandments", this one will be termed as the "Military Trend", since we will deal with it as a substantial pillar of the 10 basic elements, and not just a mere expedient as some of us used to get illumined the expedient is liable to undergone many transformations and could be ultimately replaced by a more suitable and appropriate one, but the Zionist militarism (with all its ferocious power, terror, torture, intelligence work, spying activities, hegemony and oppression) is the other true face of the this specific multiheaded monster movement.
Zionism is a military movement, as the same extent as its ethnic, settling, racist and occupational characteristics, but also an eradicative movement of the people of this land, and an appropriate base working for the benefit of the colonialism interests in our region. Hence, militarism is the natural complement and epilogue to the other Zionist peculiarities, to the extent that these qualities represent a substantial dimension and a natural continuation of it.
In this context, 1 must reiterate and insist on the error in perceiving the Zionist military trend as just a mere expedient used to serve the ultimate goals formerly defined, or as a second-degree issue compared to these goals. Zionist militarism is one of the main peculiarities and substantial landmarks, just as the same priority related to the ingrained rules of the Zionist movement there is no (and will be no) peaceful Zionism, nor a reconciliative Zionism, in the shape of a civilian Zionist movement lacking its military trend or peculiarity. The dream of a Zionist movement without its military trend is just a pure illusion leading to nothing we cannot remember any national movement in our modem history with a military trend overstepping the expedients borderlines. Thus, Zionist militarism is a substantial element of the Zionist movement and a main characteristic of it.
In this regard, the psychological study of the Jews and Zionists provides us with the following accurate explanation: from one hand, the Zionists were aware that their project would remain rejected and besieged for an indefinite spell of time, despite all the potential success it might be able to achieve on the other hand, they also concluded that only the military disciplinary spirit would be the cure in transforming the fear and yielding mentality deeply rooted within the Jewish personality for nearly 2.000 years. This is why there will be no peaceful or reconciliative Zionism.
As usual, we will begin with Theodor Herzl and refer to him as a prime and reliable source of information, able to provide us with the truly-based facts never mentioned in the books very doubtful about their intentions and validity, like the "Protocols of Zion's Sages", or any religious book like the Talmud and Torah, since the reliance on these unauthentic books is surely bound to turn out our sober and composed study that strive to shed the lights upon the current facts into a slump in adversities we cannot afford to encounter, particularly during these days marking the 100th anniversary of the Zionist movement creation.
However, returning to the source (to Herzl, exactly) doesn't deny 3 aspects: Firstly, the Zionist propounding symptoms of the 19th century and all the engendered associations and organizations, precisely in Eastern Europe, have also preceded Herzl within their acclaimed projects in recognizing the issue of the power role as a prime asset in the overall process of deporting the Jews to Palestine, and in providing them with the full protection on the Palestinian soil hence, Herzl wasn't the First Military Man, theoretically and temporarily, he was rather the First Military Man by institutional and practical approach means.
Secondly, the previous endeavors of the Zionist action in the 19th century (they were quasi-Zionists or bundled with Zionist indications without being fully termed as Zionist comprehensive actions) solicited the military power as the prime method to ease the way for the "oppressed Jews" to head for Palestine, and to establish their own identity by one way or another. These endeavors were extended for more that 2 centuries, beginning with an initial effort executed by a Jewish adventurer, gambler and swindler who converted to Christianity and then to Islam, and tried in the later stages of the 16th century to persuade the Ottoman sultan to allow him the creation of a Jewish military legion in order to transfer its troops to Palestine for establishing a safe refuge for the Jewish people and support the Ottoman presence situated at the very heart of the Arab land sections of the sultanate, and in one of the most sacred and religious places for all the Moslems of the world, a project leading also to free the isle of Cyprus from the British greedy aspirations... to the infamous endeavor of Napoleon (in the later stages of the 18th century) who totally relied upon the Jews as their phenomenal allies during his military campaign against the British forces, also blessing the Jewish occupation of Palestine, or a part of it, in return for the receipt of their complete political, financial, and international loyalty. Between these 2 endeavors, there have been few other limited attempts failing even before being brought to life.
And thirdly, the deep connection between
some of the Zionist wings (organizations and individuals) and the Old Testament's
novels of Torah, which inspired them the use of military force previously
exerted in the past by the ancient Hebrews for occupying some parts of
Palestine and confronting their enemies in the shape of the local population
who resided for centuries back on the soil of Palestine, also remembering
that a huge part of the Biblical Hebrew history was indeed the history
of the extended battles for more than 500 years with the Palestinians,
Aramaics, Canaanites, Amoris, Kildans, Babylonians, Egyptians and Persians,
alongside the internal battles involving the Hebrew tribes and kingdoms,
and
sometimes the people of the very same
household.
It was true that this connection didn't exceed the lines of admiration and tributes, using its events as symbols to enhance the Zionist call, but it was deeply present in the awareness of those Zionists, at least, as one of the main incentives to promote the Zionist settling and racist dream with all the scenes of power, intrepidity, violence and mass killing, which brought to that dream a particular "splendor" for the ferocious dreamers who never refrained from setting bloodshed scenes of innocent peoples just to fulfill their wildest dream.
Nevertheless, let' s open the page of the Zionist militarism through Herzl himself, the spiritual father of the Zionist movement during its organizational era, a movement formulated by means of comprehensive mechanism and coherent structures from the very beginning.
"Powerful Israel" was the ultimate target set at that time by the Zionists; power was also the expedient; but according to Herzl , both aspects are correlated, and they remain like that until our present time. Hence, there is no Zionism without "Israel", and no "Israel" without power, admittedly no "Israel" without the Jewish dislodgment from all over Europe and the Arab world to Palestine, and without the Palestinian people's deracination out of his home country, also without the regional expansionism policy and the colonial subjugating. Only a powerful "Israel" could achieve all these goals. Thus, the Zionist movement, in total contradiction to the other known movements and political principles, sought to gain the power for only the purpose of power, as it won't seek it just for being an expedient for other subjects: Power is the essence of presence and its "raison d'etre", it is rather the pure presence itself.
Herzl's writings hold this specific notion and his deep admiration to power; in conjunction with his attempts to clinch the desired "License" for the settling process in Palestine, alongside his efforts exerted to convince the Jews about adhering to the principles of the Zionist movement, he had striven to make from Zionism and the settling project the highest example of power, as he found in both of them the true alternative of mendicancy. he was aware that the mendicancy is embodied in his, frequent visits to the Ottoman sultan Abdul Hamid to lure his acceptance for the emigration of the Jewish people toward Palestine, also embodied in his regular contacts with Europe's Kings, Caesars, and policy makers, querying for the full guarantee and protection of the emigration waves (which means that the mendicancy was the apparent figure of the quest for both the "License" and the protection of the Jewish people in the shape of the "Public Law". But Herzl also recognized the paramount necessity of the power which is the sole method to prove to the whole world and the reigning colonialist forces of that time that his movement is suitable to get what it is planning to achieve.
Accordingly, Herzl began to ingrain the seeds of Zionist powerful militarism deep into the spirits of all Zionists, in total contradiction of the reigning quality which has been labeling the Jewish human being of that time, portraying him as a poor, oppressed and subjugated person; but if Herzl has been calling these poor people to leave their position, he was seeking to transform their status from a weak and ill one, to a solid and ferocious new standing, built on the powerful force, and even leading to force the vanquishing over other peoples.
We might realize in this regard that the most harsh terrorist activities exerted by the Zionists took place following the subjugation acts from which the Jews have been suffering at the hand of the Nazis; ironically, this terrorism was addressed by the Zionists to those who didn't have any relation with everything happening for the Jews in that period of time (i.e., the Arab population of Palestine), and precisely against this people who tried to help the Jews in their quest to end the vanquishing process displayed by the British during the 4 years that followed the end of World War 2. Zionist brutality against the Palestinian Arab population has been constantly arising as soon as the Jews passed the phase of indigence, either a true or false one.
During the early years of the current century, Herzl has been contemplating the incarnation of his call to the Zionists in a comprehensive military preparation process, in conjunction with his efforts seeking to gain the international political "License" from the world's super powers, to pave the road for him and create the Jewish national homeland on Palestinian soil, through the establishment of a Jewish quasi-regular military legion, containing the Jewish and non-Jewish European mercenaries and headed by a British officer who dreamt about contributing to create a state by the power of sword. This officer was an extreme adventurer, and very close to the Church.
Despite the death of Herzl and his imaginary project, the Zionist organization rushed instantly to create many regular and quasi-regular military groups in order to "protect" the early pioneers of Zionist settlers and the first-established Jewish settlements in Palestine throughout the first 2 decades of the current century.
The Zionist quasi-regular military groups consisted of the Jewish youth who came to Palestine among the nee emigrants, many of them previously acquiring a notable military experience in battles confrontations; these groups were stationed around the settlements and on the roads leading to these sites. One of the most ardent followers of Zionism, of American nationality, led these quasi-regular military groups, but was finally killed during a direct confrontation with the Arab residents in Palestine; for memorizing this figure, he was considered as the "First Martyr", and one of the first-established settlements in Northern Palestine had been called after his name.
As for the regular military groups, they were consisted of many sub-legions provided by the Zionist movement to the British any in order to enhance their military training profile and armament, and to fight under the British flag, while maintaining the unique Jewish distinctive character throughout the period of military service. They were dubbed the "Muleteers" legions, as their infantry has been using the mules during their activities and transportation. The Zionists exaggerated the role of these troops, as it was very limited during World War 1 events; however, the role of these Jewish regular military groups proved to be very important during the practical preliminary phases of the Zionist terrorism under the British mandate rule over Palestine, as the "Muleteers" troops constituted the nucleus of the Jewish regular and quasi-regular military corps established in the 20's, and later enhanced in the 30's, to eventually being transformed as the "Israeli Defense Forces" in the 40's of the current century.
"Haganah" was the main largest and powerful faction of these Zionist groups, and it was created by the Labor party (formerly the "Mapam" party); it was David Ben-Gurion (appointed later on as the first Prime-Minister of " Israel", who personally declared the creation of the state in May 1948) who formulated Haganah's development procedures. But this Zionist extremist terrorist group relied at the first place on the British support which wasn't restricted on the training, arming and developing aspects of work, as it also provided this group with the full legitimate profile and made out of it a stand-in side of the official security forces stationed all over Palestine.
Ord Wingate, a Christian British officer, not a Jewish one, was one of the firm sponsors and supporters of the presence and terrorist operations executed by the Haganah extremist group; Wingate, an extreme adventurer and ardent fanatic, provided Haganah with all his powers and capabilities, even leading its troops in the sabotage operations addressed against the Arab people of Palestine during the 30ts, before rejoining the British forces in South-Eastern Asia to guide the shock troops in sabotage operations targeting the Japanese occupation forces.
Wingate was killed there, only to be revealed as a coward and weak personality, lacking the leadership characteristics and unable to bear the responsibility assigned to him; these are not my own words, but rather the testaments of the British military documents related to World War2.
During World War 2, the Zionists repeated the same previous experience they have been involved with the British during World War 1, by means of securing them young Jewish conscripts within a special Jewish legion stationed in the ranks of the British armed forces; thus, it came as no surprise at all to notice that this new experience heralded much dangerous and powerful profile than the previous one: the enemy now is a common side, as the Nazis were the opposing faction of both the British and Jewish soldiers, the battle was against them, accordingly an undisputed single war.
Moreover, the Zionists have been badly searching for the acquisition of better armament, training and rehabilitation programs to enhance their military status as they were very close (temporarily) to the ultimate phase of creating their own state, a fact demanding a suitable and appropriate military preparation process at the highest level in order to encounter the Palestinian Arab population and all its regular Arab armies and volunteers.
Beyond the relevant details, we can sum
up the situation by saying that the Zionist Military experience, backed
by the British forces (1939-1945), was indeed the main groundwork basis
upon which the Zionists have been preparing to encounter the Arabs in 1948;
we can also add that the British and Zionists were aware at that time that
the Jewish regular soldier within the ranks of the British any is the cycles
of the regular soldier of the potential forthcoming state that the Zionists
endeavor to establish under the British (and all their allies) auspices
at the aftermath of World War 2. Hence, it wasn't strange to find the Jewish
volunteers fighting very impressively among the ranks of the British forces
against the Arabs, rather than rushing to the battlefield in Europe, and
precisely in Italy, Germany or Normandie (the French Western coast). The
Zionists have participated, for example, in the British occupation of both
Syria and Lebanon (where Moshe Dayan --later the Israeli defense minister
-- lost one of his eyes in the Lebanese coastal city of Damour, located
some 20 kilometers south of Beirut), and in the British occupation of Iraq
against the national revolution of Rashid AI-Kilani (Abraham Stern was
one of the participating officers in these confrontations, later killed
in Al-Habbaniyah). Both mentioned Jewish figures have been the creme of
Zionist terrorism, the first was one of the war "Heroes" in 1948-1949,
1956 AND 1967, while the other infamous second led one of the most ferocious
terrorist organizations --Stern-- which hold his name, before being fully
integrated in the corps of the Israeli army in 1948.
