Regarding the "Israeli" practices in the occupied zone, September witnessed several tours and meeting.

- On Sep. 2, an "Israeli" military delegation headed by the liaison unit commander toured the site near Zimraya crossing where two charges were detonated. Then, he held a meeting in the "Israeli" and Lahdi command HQ in Tallet Zoghleh. The meeting focused on the military situation in this sector, as it became clear that the resistance is now able to carry out its operations very easily and accurately besides being in control of the field situation. The "Israeli" security sources fear that the security situation in Hasbaya becomes similar to that in the Jezzine area before the "Israeli" withdrawal.

- On Sep. 7, the liaison unit command and that of the proxy militia met to discuss the measures to be adopted at the Zimraya crossing in particular and other crossings in general, as it turned out that the personnel used to protect these gates that separate the occupied zone from the liberated areas have become sitting ducks for the Resistance men.
The meeting centered on ways to overcome the fear felt by the Lahdi militiamen manning the gates, as they said they refuse to man the crossings under the current military circumstances.

- On Sep. 8, an "Israeli" delegation from the northern area command toured the Tallet Zoghleh axis and the surrounding military outposts. The delegation inspected, from Ain Qinya Hilltop, the road between Tallet Zoghleh and the town of Memis and met the "Israeli" and Lahdi military command working at this axis besides holding a meeting at Tallet Zoghleh to evaluate the military situation and study the pros and cons of closing the Zimraya gate (crossing) and the possibility of opening a new gate.
Moreover, a ceremony was held in Marjeyoun. It was attended by the "Israeli" liaison unit commander Beni Genzi, Antoine Lahd and senior officers form both sides. The occasion was to mark the replacement of the liaison unit's eastern division commander Col. Aviv by Col. Ayal Azemberg.

- On Sep. 21, the "Israeli" liaison unit command and that of the Lahdi militia held a meeting to discuss the military situation and the preparations that the occupation has launched for a partial withdrawal from Hasbaya and the rest of the Jezzine area.

- On Sep. 28, "Israeli" officers were positioned at the Tallet Zoghleh Hilltop outpost at night. They supervised the raids that were launched by the occupation's warplanes on the Daidaba Hilltop (Mount al-Dahr).

As for storming and detention campaigns, the occupation forces and their collaborators on Sep. 3 detained two residents from the Alma al-Shaab town. Hussein Ali Harisi, 48, and Mohammed Mahmoud Harisi, 21, were taken to the al-Khiam detention center.

On Sep. 6, the occupation forces stormed into houses in the town of Rmeish. Journalist Cosette Elias Ibrahim, 25, Samir George Khiami, 22, and De Gaul Butros Abu Taleb, 40, were detained and taken to al-Khiam center.

The arrest of the press woman, Ibrahim, was widely condemned by social groups and the Lebanese Press and Editors Unions. Protest was also staged inside occupied Palestine.

On Sep. 9, the occupation stormed into a number of houses in the town of Blat. Bahjat Asaad, 30, was detained, and so were two brothers and their sister in the town of Rob Thlathine. They are Mohammed Faqih, Ali Faqih and Mariam Faqih.

On Sep. 10, Nader Mohammed Khodor, 30, who hails from Hasbaya, was detained and taken to al-Khiam, the reason behind the arrest was not known.

On Sep. 15, the occupation troops positioned in the Beaufort Castle outpost ransacked the houses around the mosque in the town of Arnoun. They also set up a permanent observation center on the roof of a 3-story building to be able to observe the Beaufort-Khardali road which is used by "Israeli" military vehicles and convoys every day.

At sea, the occupation's gunboats on Sep. 17 hijacked a fishing boat near the Qlaileh shore. The three fishermen who were in the boat, Hussein Taha, Ahmed Taha and Taleb Sabrawi were beaten and insulted by the enemy troops who warned them that if they sail once again, the "Israelis" will fire at them.

On Sep. 17, collaborator Taleb Siblini arrested a number of young men in the towns of Tair Harfa and al-Jibbein. The detainees were taken to the "security center" in Naqoura.

Reports also said that collaborators tore many permits (to enter and leave the occupied zone) belonging to residents whose sons had refused to join the Lahd militia.

The occupation and its collaborators on Sep. 20 stormed the town of Aita al-Shaab, detaining Fahd Saleh (40, highschool teacher), Ali Hassan Qassem (he refused to let his son join the militia) and Fadila Mohammed Tehini, 30, who is the wife of Hussein Ali Harisi that was detained earlier this month (she was released later).

On Sep. 22, Ali Jawad, 65, was detained from his house in Rob Thlathine and taken to al-Khiam.

The next day, another detention campaign was staged by the occupation forces in Aita al-Shaeb. Among those detained were Mohammed Naef Srour and Ali Ahmed Khalil.

Moreover, the occupation expelled from the town of Rshaf Samir Mohammed Attar, 36, his wife, Khadija Abdel-Latif Attar, 34, and their seven children Susan, 13, Houria, 12, Iman, 10, Mohammed, 9, Hussein, 7, Fatima, 5 and Hassan, 2.

The enemy also dynamited the 2-story house of Mohammed Shaaban in Bait Yahoun. The reason behind the act was not known.

On the other hand, the occupation on Sep. 2 closed the Zimraya crossing for ten days, following the Islamic Resistance's operation near the crossing. The same gate was shut down on Sep. 27.

On Sep. 20, the occupation forces closed all the crossings on the occasion of Jewish Yom Kipur.

The occupation on Sep. 1, started installing sophisticated radar and electronic equipment for tapping an transmission inside the "Israeli" outpost in the Shraifeh Hilltop.

A security report said the enemy is preparing the outpost to be the intersection point at any withdrawal from the occupied strip. Forces will be gathered at this outpost which will be the last pullout point.

The Lahd militiamen were barred from nearing the outpost under any circumstances.

Moreover, the "Israeli" occupation forces reinforced the outposts of Ain Qinya, Zoghleh, and Kawkaba (the Hasbaya side).
A 20-strong force backed by armored vehicles advanced to the Ain Qinya Hilltop outpost that overlooks the liberated Hasbaya villages. The step followed pulling back the Lahd militiamen to the near Tallet Zoghleh outpost.

On Sep. 6, the occupation created a new road between its position in the Taibeh Project Hilltop and the Mhaisbut outpost. The 4-kilometer road would make the enemy's vehicle movements between the two outposts unseen by the resistance, especially from the opposite points in the liberated areas.

Moreover, sources talked about a new observation point in Baidar al-Faqaani (outskirts of Taibeh) overlooking the Litani River gorge.

The sources added that two "Israeli" tanks are positioned in the new point every night in a bid to spot resistance movements in the liberated areas.

For the first time since the beginning of the "Israeli" arbitrary blockade on the Lebanese shores of Sidon and Tyre, the "Israeli" navy on Sep. 17 intercepted a civilian ship that was leaving the Tyre port after it has unloaded its cargo there.
The "Israeli" occupation's marines told the captain that they have decided not to give him permit to leave. They did not say the reason.

Furthermore, the enemy navy on Sep. 14 held a civilian ship with a cargo of used cars. The vessel was thoroughly searched before being allowed to enter the Tyre port.
