Collaborators: We have been thrown to dogs |
According to a senior military source, the country is spending NIS 1 million
daily to cater to the needs of the Israeli-proxy refugees living in
Israel. The senior official explained that the absorption process is not
proceeding well and as a result, the refugees continue to dwell in hotels and
guesthouses at a cost of NIS hundreds of thousands daily, while apartments
prepared for them stand vacant.
In a related matter, hundreds of the refugees and their family members on Friday demonstrated in Ashkelon and Netanya against what they called the poor treatment they are receiving from the country, adding, We have been thrown to the dogs!
Demonstrators, members of Israels former allied force in southern Lebanon, exclaimed that they have been forgotten in small stuffy rooms while given NIS 2000 monthly for a family of six persons.
We have become refugees in a foreign land, explained one resident of Ashkelon, who added that conditions for him and his family are unacceptable.
Another militiamen soldier expressed his absolute disgust, adding that he served as Israels ally in the militia for 15 years, and is now a refugee with no hope for a brighter tomorrow.
