Residents
beat released collaborator in Houla
Less
than two week following the liberation of most of the Lebanese territories from
the "Israeli" occupation, and less than a week after agent Mohammed
Ayyoub Fares (from Houla) surrendered to the Lebanese judiciary, one of the
judges "acted at his discretion" and released Fares.
The
agent's return to Houla Monday morning outraged the residents as Fares had
inflicted harm on many of them by informing against them to the occupation
forces.
The
residents stormed into the collaborator's house and beat him severely. He had to
be taken to hospital for treatment.
Hizbullah
had warned the authority against leniency in the trials of the collaborators and
rushing to release them as though nothing had happened.
The party called on the state to implement justice literally and not to use "acting at one's discretion" or justifying with "old age, sickness" their release underlining that it does not want revenge acts in the villages as a result of the authority's "quasi-pardoning of some collaborators under different headings".
