Lebanese parties stress enmity to “Israel”, legitimacy of Syrian presence

Lebanese parties and forces have underlined adhering to the Lebanese invariable principles stated by the national accord document as for enmity to the Zionist entity and legitimacy of the Syrian presence in Lebanon.

In their meeting at the Baath Party HQ, the parties rejected any attempts to reconsider these invariable positions.

The continued mobilization against the Syrian presence in Lebanon is an attempt to topple the Taif Accord, the parties said in a communiqué, stressing the need to defend all the gains achieved thanks to steadfastness and Resistance.
