The total number of former Israeli-proxy South Lebanon Army members sentenced to death in absentia rose to 54 on Thursday, after the Military Tribunal announced five new convictions.
Husseub Murtadha, Maan Ibrahim Farfoor, Maroun Elias Abu Ghannam, Ali Suleiman al-Sayyed and Jean Ibrahim Helou were found guilty on Wednesday of collaborating with Israel.
In keeping with tribunal procedure, the men will be granted a second hearing if they are arrested.
