September Thursday 30-1999:

Introduction
The Islamic Resistance (IR) men continued their military pressure and dealt another blow to the "Israeli" occupation troops and their agents. One "Israeli" collaborator was killed and two others were wounded, when the IR fighters set off an explosive device against a Lahdi engineering force near Rshaf outpost in the Central Sector of the zone "Israel" occupies.

Meanwhile, Hizbullah stressed that the "Israeli" enemy's using of the air raids is due to the huge embarrassment of the occupation's command as a result of the "Israeli" troops' suffering in South Lebanon.

IR killed one agent and wounded two othersÂ…(1)
The Islamic Resistance (IR) team of martyrs Mahmoud Wehbi and Hassan Abdel-Karim Bazzi detonated, at 11:05, a powerful roadside bomb as a Lahdi engineering force was fortifying Rshaf outpost inflicting a number of casualties among its ranks.

Also, the IR unit of martyrs Mustafa Hassan Shamas and Nizar Hussein Qansou targeted another force which was trying to evacuate the casualties who fell as a result of the blast. Other casualties were suffered as well.

For its part, "Israel" admitted that one collaborator was killed and two were wounded as a result of this explosion.

However, the Lebanese Resistance Brigades (LRB) fighters staged, at 6:45, a fifteen-minute attack at Sojod outpost. Using the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, the fighters were able to destroy its western fortification whereas several casualties were inflicted inside it.

Moreover, a group of LRB attacked, at 9:00, Soweida outpost with the adequate arms scoring direct hits.

The air raids are attempts to ease embarrassment of "Israeli" occupation's commandÂ…(2)
"Hizbullah Secretary General's Assistant Hajj Hussein al-Khalil underlined that the Islamic Resistance's operations are not related to the principle of settlement talks, nor to the progress of stalemate of negotiations.

"In a press interview, al-Khalil said the enemy's resorting to increased air raids is due to the huge embarrassment of the occupation's command as a result of the "Israeli" troops' suffering in south Lebanon.

"The occupation has returned to the old plan of using the Lahd militiamen as shields, he said, adding that this will be useless.

"The resistance is hitting two birds with one stone: increasing the disintegration of the collaborators' militia, which is a strategic goal per se, and dealing blows to the occupation's army at the level of the project itself and at the individuals' level" he concluded.

"Israeli" air, ground and sea aggressionsÂ…(3)

Following the raid, the enemy aircraft circled over the areas of Nabatieh and Iqleem al-Toffah, staging a number of mock air raids at low altitude.

The "Israeli" occupation's artillery started its daily aggressions with targeting the eastern quarter of Kfar Romman and the southern neighborhood of Arab Salim with artillery rounds and heavy machine-gun fire igniting several fires that reached the populated areas and destroyed olive groves and fruit trees.
