Introduction
Hizbullah's Deputy Secretary General H.E. Sheikh Nahim Qassem stressed that the Islamic Resistance's duty is to defend, in the appropriate manner, when civilians or villages are threatened, adding, that the enemy's setting a timetable for withdrawal is another "Israeli" attempt to achieve gains.

Meanwhile, three Unifil's Fijian troops were wounded when their armored personnel carrier struck a land mine near the village of Mansouri in what Unifil referred to as a deliberate attack.

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General stresses Resistance's readiness, warns of "Israeli" escalation…(1)
"Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General his Eminence Sheikh Nahim Qassem affirmed the Islamic Resistance's readiness to confront any possible developments, stressing the Resistance's decision to proceed (with its operations against the "Israeli" occupation forces) as it is not concerned with "preparing atmospheres for the enemy".

"The Islamic Resistance's duty is to defend, in the appropriate manner, when civilians or villages are threatened, Sheikh Qassem said, adding that the enemy's setting a timetable for withdrawal is another "Israeli" attempt to achieve pressurizing gains in the settlement process.

"Regarding the "Israeli" raid on a Lebanese army post in Sarba, the deputy secretary-general said, "This targeting is an expression of outrage at the current unity between the army and the Resistance".

With this raid, the enemy wanted to threaten with what may happen if the Lebanese situation remains firm", he concluded.

President and army command receive condolences on martyr soldier…(2)
"President Gen Emile Lahoud received many support and condolences' calls on the martyrdom of soldier Michael Abi Tannous who was killed in an "Israeli" aggression on the Lebanese army post in Sarba; the calls included one from Hizbullah Secretary General his Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Speaker Nabih Berri.

"Prime Minister Dr. Salim al-Hoss commented on the threats made by enemy minister Ehud Barak

The enemy is wrong if it thinks its aggressions will make the Lebanese retrack or accept any of its conditions, al-Hoss said.
"The national decision is clear: we will never give up one grain of our national soil, no compromise on resolution 425, and no separation of Lebanese and Syrian tracks, he added.

Chief of Hizbullah's Political Council MP Mohammed Raad stressed the unity of the Resistance, the army, and the people in the face of the Zionist enemy's arrogance.

"As he visited the Lebanese soldiers who had been wounded in the "Israeli" raid on their outpost in Sarba (Iqleem al-Toffah), Raad said, "the aggression targeted all of Lebanon."

The Resistance will perform its duty to defend the security of its people and deter the "Israeli" aggression in the appropriate manner and timing, MP Raad said.

"He commended the sacrifices of the Lebanese troops while intercepting the enemy raids.

"In the past, we used to dream that the army and the Resistance unite in fighting ""Israel"". Today the army's stand by the Resistance's side while intercepting the "Israeli" aggression is a source of pride. We hail the troops who were in the outpost and offer condolences on the martyrdom of Soldier Abi Tannous".

"Faithfulness to the Resistance bloc member MP Abdallah Qassir also visited the wounded soldiers and wished them rapid recovery".

"Israeli" Aggressions…(3)
The "Israeli" occupation troops staged the following aggressions:
00:00, six tank rounds hit Mount Sojod.
7:55, Mount Al-Rafih was targeted by three 120mm shells.

Military Operations…(4)
The Islamic Resistance (IR) team of martyrs Mohammad Ali Najem and Fouad Said Abdallah attacked, at 12:40, enemy movements inside Bir Kallab outpost. Using the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, the militants were able to chalk up direct and certain goals.

At the same time, the IR unit of martyrs Abbas Mohammad Hammoud and Ibrahim Hussein El-Hajj targeted an "Israeli" foot-force at Kassaret Al-Oroush compound with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades. Direct and definite hits were scored, the mujahedeen told.

Three peacekeepers injured in blast; security sources accuse "Israel"…(5)
"Three United Nations peacekeeping soldiers from Fiji were injured in an overnight explosion in southern Lebanon. Security sources accused "Israel" of carrying out the attack.

"UNIFIL said an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the explosion of a mine" which hit a Fijian armored vehicle heading for the village of Mansouri south of the main southern town of Tyre, outside the zone "Israel" occupies. UNIFIL Spokesman Timor Goksel said the device was placed by the road and went off shortly before midnight inflicting "average injuries" on the three Fijian UN troops. The troops were transported to the UNIFIL field hospital at Naqoura near the border with "Israel". The Fijian contingent of 540 men is stationed in the western sector of the southern zone occupied by "Israel". Security sources in Tyre were quoted as saying roadside bomb carried all the hallmarks of an "Israeli" assault. Sources said a number of such incidents in the past have been blamed on occupation forces. Two hundred meters away from the site of the explosion are four "Israeli" outposts ".

"Israeli" Gen: Hizbullah will continue the armed struggle against "Israel"…(6)
""Israel's" military intelligence chief, General Amos Malka, has warned that a unilateral withdrawal from the south would invite cross-border attacks from Hizbullah against the settlements of northern Galilee.

“If the negotiations with the Syrians fail, they (the Syrians) will have good reason to support the operations in south Lebanon,” Malka said in an interview with the daily Yediot Ahronot.

He claimed that it was apparent from public declarations by Hizbullah’s leaders “that they will continue the armed struggle against "Israel", even after our troops withdraw from Lebanon.”

“The war would continue much closer to our border than is now the case and any Katyusha rocket attacks could threaten areas of "Israel" that are currently spared,” he said.

The "Israeli" Army has consistently opposed a unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon. "Israeli" Premier Ehud Barak has pledged to pull the troops out of the south by July next year within the framework of a peace deal with Syria and Lebanon. However, he has refused to reveal how a withdrawal would occur if no agreement has been reached with Syria by next summer.

In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Barak hinted that any future negotiations with Syria could be jeopardized by continuing violence in the south.

“The terror from Lebanon could put a halt to the process with Syria,” he said. “Experience shows that when there are talks, there is a low level of Hizbullah attacks. If the Syrians are smart, the same thing will happen now. If this does not happen, then the developments will be affected.”

"Hizbullah has consistently refused to call a halt to resistance operations, instead vowing to kill "Israeli" soldiers for as long as the occupation lasts".
