One Lebanese soldier martyred and five wounded in "Israeli" raid…(1)
In a remarkable development, the "Israeli" enemy warplanes staged yesterday midnight a series of sorties into Iqleem Al-Toffah hilltops. One of the sorties aimed at the Lebanese Army post at Sarba Hill killing the Lebanese soldier Michel Abou Tannous and wounded five others who were defined as Mohammad Taleb, Mohammad Al-Samad, Khaled Shaikha, Mohammad Deeb and Kanj Nayef.

A security source said that an "Israeli" fighter-bomber dropped two air-to-ground missiles into the post. One armored vehicle, equipped by anti-aircraft battery, was hit directly.

The Islamic Resistance (IR) team of martyrs Hussein Mohammad Abdel-Hussein Fahdeh and Mohammad Suleiman Chaitou attacked, at 15:20, enemy movements inside Baraasheit compound. Using the adequate arms, the militants were able to score direct hits.

At the same time, the IR unit of martyrs Youssef Izzeddine and Hazzaa Gharib Makki fell upon Beit Yahoun outpost with the appropriate weapons. Direct goals were chalked up, the mujahedeen told.

In the meantime, the IR squad of martyrs Fadi Ali Hariri and Fouad Jamil Madani was targeting Jamoussa position with the rocket-propelled grenades scoring direct and certain hits.

Meanwhile, the IR group of martyrs Assaad Melhem Chahrour and Abdo Ahmad Fahdeh targeted a Lahdi engineering force as it was fortifying Hemayed position. The militants, who used the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, managed to chalk up direct and definite goals.

Furthermore, the IR team of martyrs Moussa Adib and Hassan Balhas rushed, at 19:00, upon enemy movements inside Blat position scoring accurate goals.

Two hours later, the IR squad of martyrs Ihab Medlej and Rodwan Dougha made a swift attack against Mashaaroun outpost the rocket-propelled grenades.

Meanwhile, the IR group of martyrs Majed Jaffal and Ali Saouli was targeting Moheisbat position with the rocket-propelled grenades. The mujahedeen managed to score direct and certain hits.

Also, the IR militants spotted, at 21:25, a Lahdi motorized patrol entering Sojod outpost. Immediately afterwards, the IR unit of martyrs Jawad Ali Zein and Ismail Abdallah Biloun targeted it with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades chalking up direct goals.

Moreover, the IR mujahedeen observed, at 23:00, a Lahdi infantry force near Bir Kallab outpost. Shortly afterwards, the IR team of martyrs Abboud Khalil Abboud and Ali Taan El-Tawil attacked it with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades scoring direct and definite hits.
 

Gen Sayyed: Hizbullah's Resistance is legitimate…(3)
"General Director of General Security Gen Jamil al-Sayyed underlined that Hizbullah is engaged in a legitimate resistance against the "Israeli" occupation, adding that "resistance is a reaction to the "Israeli" violence and terrorism."

"Al-Sayyed's position came during talks with French political and security officials in Paris where he has been for a week to discuss the needs of the Lebanese General Security apparatus.

His talks also tackled the negotiations on the Lebanese and Syrian tracks, if these negotiations are to be headed by military men.

"Press sources said Gen al-Sayyed will bring to Lebanon French suggestions on the settlement issue, the April Understanding's group and its role, besides the issue of settling Palestinians in Lebanon".

Occupation bars Aita Shaab students from sitting for exams…(4)
""Israeli" occupation forces and the remains of its proxy militia have barred university students in the occupied town of Aita al-Shaab from going to the universities to sit for the assigned entrance exams.

"The town's residents told president Emile Lahoud in a call they made today that they persist on steadfastness in the face of the occupation and its arbitrary measures, and that they want the Lebanese government to support them and raise their issue at international forums to deter the occupation and force it to lift the siege which has been imposed on the town for two months".

The Islamic Resistance (IR) issued a statement in which it reported the following "Israeli" aggressions:
18:55, the “Israeli” war jets raided into the perimeters of Zawtar.
19:10, five 155mm missiles struck the peripheries of Siddiqeen, Chaitieh and Jibal El-Botom.
Between 19:15 and 19:35, several 155mm missiles landed the outskirts of Siddiqeen.
19:30, the “Israeli” fighter-bombers dropped six air-to-surface rockets into the area between Siddiqeen, Rmadieh and Jibal El-Botom.
Between 21:05 and 22:30, Qaissieh Valley was bombarded by twenty one 155mm missiles.
At 21:45 and 21:50, the “Israeli” warplanes staged three sorties into the peripheries of Jmeijmeh village firing more several air-to-ground missiles.
21:55, the “Israeli” war jets raided into the outskirts of Majdal Selem damaging the house of Samir Mahmoud Merhi.
23:32, the “Israeli” fighter-bombers launched an air raid into the peripheries of Jibaa.
At 23:55 and 00:03, the “Israeli” warplanes staged two sorties into a Lebanese Army emplacement at the outskirts of Sarba destroying a military vehicle and wounding four Lebanese soldiers.
