September Saturday 18 -1999:
Introduction
Following a series of successful military operations launched by the
Islamic Resistance (IR) militants, the "Israeli" enemy's radio admitted
that one "Israeli" soldier was killed while another was wounded.
However, the head of the "Israeli" occupation's proxy militia Antoine Lahd complained during his meeting with the enemy's Prime Minister Ehud Barak that collective resignations, collapse, rebellion and confusion are the headlines preoccupying his morally collapsing militiamen.
One enemy soldier killed, another wounded in new qualitative IR
operations
(1)
"In commemoration of Lady Zahraa's (A. S.) martyrdom, the Islamic Resistance
(IR) dealt to the Zionist occupation forces a new blow that resulted in
inflicting definite casualties in the enemy ranks.
"IR's squad of Martyr Haitham Moghnieh at 15:45 Friday blitzed a Zionist command convoy at the entrance of the "Israeli" occupation's barracks in al-Rihan. IR men showered the convoy with their machine guns and rocket propelled grenades directly hitting a command car and killing or wounding those in it.
In the meantime, squad of Martyr Ashraf Khaireddeen attacked the barracks with the appropriate weapons destroying its surveillance tower and a number of its ramparts, while squad of Martyr Ahmed Rida targeted the Lahdi collaborators' outpost in Sojod from all directions scoring definite hits.
For its part, squad of Martyr Ghassan Zaatar pounded the enemy's outpost in Bir Kallab destroying a 12.7mm machine-gun emplacement.
When an "Israeli" Merkava tank moved from Rihan to the town's square to back up the targeted convoy, squad of Martyr Hussein Trabulsi attacked the enemy tank with the adequate arms. IR men hit the tank and set it ablaze. Meanwhile, squad of Martyr Allam Swaidan targeted the HQ of the 10th regiment in the collaborators' Rihan barracks with the appropriate weapons scoring definite hits and destroying another 12.7mm machine-gun emplacement.
Furthermore, IR's Artillery Reinforcement Unit (ARU) pounded the "Israeli" barracks in Rihan. Fire was seen bellowing from the barracks. Meanwhile, squad of Martyr Karim Atwi in the ARU pounded and silenced the enemy's emplacements in al-Zaffateh and Rihan which were directly hit.
Elsewhere, another IR squad attacked the "Israeli" occupation's outpost in Blat with the adequate arms in a concentrated and violent manner, scoring direct hits in the outpost.
The enemy's radio acknowledged the operation and that one "Israeli" soldier was killed while another was wounded. It said a military helicopter took the killed soldier and the wounded one to occupied Palestine".
"Israeli" aggressions continue: air raids and bombardment
(2)
"The "Israeli" occupation forces' aggressions against Lebanese villages
and areas intensified as the enemy aircraft at 16:00 Friday staged two
raids on the Sojod Farm firing eight air-to-ground missiles, while the
enemy's surveillance drones circled heavily over Iqleem al-Toffah. The
anti-aircraft fire of the Lebanese army and the Islamic Resistance intercepted
the enemy warplanes.
In the meantime, the occupation forces fired over 70 155mm and 120mm rounds on the woods of Sojod, Rihan, Oqmata, Nabeh al-Tasseh, Mlita Hilltops, as the Sojod outpost fired heavy 12.7mm showers on the residential areas in Jarjoua. A number of houses were hit in the aggressions.
Earlier, the occupation's warplanes Thursday night staged a raid on the outskirts of Yater firing eight air-to-ground missiles that damaged crops in the targeted areas.
At noon (Friday), "Israeli" warplanes staged mock air raids over Nabatieh and Iqleem al-Toffah, breaking the sound barrier and shattering window glass before reaching Beirut with its provocation and breaking the sound barrier in its sky.
Moreover, the occupation's artillery pounded the outskirts of Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, Jib Soweid, and Wadi al-Hojeir with a number of heavy rounds.
In Nabatieh, the Habboush-Arab Salim-Houmeen road was targeted with "Israeli" 155mm rounds from the occupation's outpost in Zaffateh which also fired rounds on the Oqmata area and the Zahrani River gorge.
In the meantime, the occupation's outpost in the Soweida Hilltop raked the southern neighborhood of Arab Salim with 12.7mm rounds.
For its part, the Islamic Resistance (IR) issued a communiqué
in which it mentioned further "Israeli" aggressions (3):
1:15, three 155mm missiles hit Habboush River watercourse.
Between 5:50 and 6:50, the perimeters of Mlikh village came under twenty
five 155mm missiles.
6:25, Oqmata area was shelled by seven 155mm missiles.
6:45, four 155mm missiles struck Mount Sojod.
12:25, the eastern peripheries of Kfar Tibnite town exposed to a volley
of 12.7mm heavy machine gun bullets.
Between 14:00 and 15:55, the perimeters of Yater village subjected
to four 155mm missiles and one 120mm shell.
Between 15:20 and 16:20, fourteen 155mm missiles slammed into the perimeters
of Jibaa town.
16:01, the "Israeli" fighter-bombers dropped four air-to-ground rockets
into Sojod village.
16:07, the "Israeli" war jets reiterated raiding into Sojod.
Collapse and fate of the proxy militia between Lahd and Barak
(4)
"Collective resignations, collapse, rebellion and confusion are headlines
that the chief of the "Israeli" occupation's proxy militia, Antoine Lahd,
conveyed to the enemy's prime minister Ehud Barak as they met at the "Israeli"
war ministry HQ last night.
"According to reports from the occupied zone, the militia officials have demanded that Lahd ask for an explanation of the occupation leadership's contradicting statements in the media on the fate of the militiamen.
"Agent Lahd asked Barak to include him in any accord that may be signed by the enemy's entity and Syria and Lebanon, the reports said, adding that Lahd wanted "the fate of his militiamen guaranteed in such accords".
"The media said that the enemy prime minister promised the chief collaborator that he will work to guarantee the safety of the militiamen in any accord with Lebanon and Syria.
"Information from the occupied zone said the militia did not believe there was anything new in the Barak-Lahd meeting, for they have heard a lot of reassurances from the occupation, but the Jezzine collaborators had to face legal charges following the "Israeli" withdrawal.
"Moreover, Lahd had promised the Jezzine collaborators financial compensation; the occupation's command, however, refused to pay the funds, thus forcing the militiamen to give themselves up to the Lebanese authorities instead of facing an unknown fate".
Fresh "Israeli" piracy against Lebanese fishermen in Tyre
(5)
"On Friday, "Israeli" forces released three fishermen after six hours
of questioning.
"Hussein and Ahmad Taha and Taleb Sabrawi were fishing off the Tyre coast when "Israeli" gunboats followed them and forced the fishermen to board an "Israeli" naval cutter for interrogation.
""Israel" imposes a sea blockade on Lebanese fishermen in the Tyre area and prevents them from sailing more than one nautical mile off the coast".
