Introduction
As Hizbullah promised its people before, the Islamic Resistance (IR)
mujahedeen fired, in response to the massacre carried out by the "Israeli"
enemy yesterday at Libbaya village, salvos of Katyusha rockets were unleashed
into the "Israeli" settlements.
Earlier, the "Israeli" occupying troops and their agents executed a massacre when they bombarded brutally Libbaya killing two civilians and wounding four others in addition to damaging several houses.
Heeding Hizbullah's vows of retaliation, which came quickly hours later, the "Israeli" enemy army ordered the settlers in the north of occupied Palestine to enter bomb shelters last night-for the sixth time in almost as many months.
Tens of Katyusha rockets fired at "Israeli" settlements
Three collaborators killed and two injured

Today dawn, the Islamic Resistance (IR) militants crushed the "Israeli"-fabricated
24 June equation as they bombarded Kiryat Shimona with dozens of Katyusha
rockets.
The IR released a communiqué in which it reported that in the connection of its Islamic and moral sacred duties, defending its people and in retaliation for the savage massacre committed by the Zionist enemy and its collaborators against the civilians of Libbaya village, the IR shelled Kiryat Shimona settlement with Katyusha rockets. The IR asserted its right to defend its people whatever the sacrifices were warning the enemy of going too far in killing the civilians.
Earlier, The IR team of martyrs Rodwan Mohieddine Dougha and Ali Deeb Wehbi detonated, at 16:15, a roadside bomb as a Lahdi foot-patrol was on the road leading to Zimraya crossing point inflicting a number of casualties.
Quarter an hour later, the IR squad of martyrs Abbas Abdallah and Abdel-Karim Dakdouk set off another explosive device as a collaborator reinforcements brought to the scene in order to evacuate the casualties. However, the "Israeli" allied militia had admitted that three of its members were killed and one another was wounded.
Also, The IR unit of martyrs Ibrahim Dakdouk and Abbas Akil attacked, at 8:30, Sojod outpost with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades destroying 12.7mm and Browning heavy machine guns in addition to the western fortification.
New "Israeli" massacre: Two civilians killed and five wounded

"The south was braced for a serious escalation Wednesday night after
"Israeli" shelling killed two civilians in the Western Beqaa.
Heeding Hizbullahs vows of retaliation, the "Israeli" Army ordered residents of northern "Israel" into bomb shelters, the first time this command has been given since the wide-ranging air strikes on Lebanons infrastructure at the end of June".
"The civilian casualties occurred when several shells exploded in Libbaya, killing Hassan Aql, 18, and Fatmeh Jabali, 19. Two other civilians, Mona Atweh, 35, and Ilaa Aql, 10, were wounded in the shelling. An army checkpoint 4 kilometers north of the zone was hit in the bombardment and five houses were also damaged.
"Despite the heightened tensions as a result of the deaths of the two civilians, "Israeli" warplanes staged an air raid against the Western Beqaa, firing four missiles at Zillaya.
"Other than Wednesdays civilian casualties, five other people have been wounded this week.
The escalation came on the eve of a visit to the region by U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in a bid to restart the peace talks between Syria and "Israel".
"Prime Minister Salim Hoss opened the weekly Cabinet session with a note of caution to optimists predicting a quick revival of the peace talks.
Theres no reason for any optimism over the prospects of a compromise with "Israel". There has been no change in "Israel's" intransigence and proof of this lies in the way the "Israelis" are dealing with the Palestinian issue and failing to implement signed agreements such as the Oslo and Wye accords.
After the Cabinet meeting, Information Minister Anwar Khalil said Whenever theres an important visitor to Lebanon, "Israel" escalates all its actions in the south and the Western Beqaa.
On Monday, Hizbullahs deputy secretary-general, Sheikh Naim Qassem, delivered a fiery speech warning to "Israel" that the resistance would not hesitate to use the Katyusha option if civilians continue to be killed or wounded in Lebanon. It was the most bellicose speech since "Israel" destroyed bridges and damaged electricity stations on June 24 in response to the last Katyusha raid on northern Galilee".
However, the "Israeli" occupation forces staged the further aggressions
as reported in a communiqué issued by the Islamic Resistance (IR)

Between 00:25 and 1:30, Mount Bassil was shelled by twelve 155mm missiles.
9:05, Mount Sojod was bombarded by fifteen missiles and a volley of
12.7mm heavy machine gun bullets, whereas Tasseh Well watercourse exposed
to two shells.
16:30, twenty five 155mm missiles slammed into the 910th area and the
hilltops of Bir Zahr and Daidaba.
Between 16:55 and 17:25, Libbaya village and its perimeters came under
more than twenty five 130 and 155mm missiles. The "Israeli" shells killed
the civilians Fatima Ibrahim Al-Jabli, 35, Hassan Nimr Akel, 18, and wounded
Mona Haidar El-Aouta, 35, and her daughter Aya Hussein Akel, 15, and Hassan
Ali Akel.
"Israeli" Army orders northern residents to shelters
(4)
" Northern residents were instructed to enter bomb shelters last
night - for the sixth time in almost as many months - in case Hizbullah
implemented its threat to hit the Galilee with Katyusha rockets in retaliation
for recent casualties among Lebanese civilians.
"The decision was taken by the Northern Command after two Lebanese civilians - a man and a woman in their 20s - were killed and several other people wounded in Libbaya village, north of the security zone, as a result of South Lebanese Army* fire".
"For residents of confrontation line communities in the North, the main issue was having their lives once again disrupted by the threat of rocket attacks on their communities.
"We want peace, but we also want to make sure that it will guarantee the security and economic stability of residents, factories, farming, schooling, and all the other aspects that make up our daily lives," Metulla local council head Ya'acov Katz said last night.
"I should have been attending a wedding tonight of a woman from one of Metulla's oldest families who is marrying a man from Kiryat Shmona. Instead, I had to stay here and ensure that all emergency services are operating and everything is as ready as possible in case of rocket attacks.
"From what I understand, many people did not attend the wedding because of the instructions to stay in bomb shelters. This symbolizes what we are having to put up with, apart from the dire effect the security situation in the North has had on industry and tourism in particular.
"This is the sixth time we have been instructed to go into bomb shelters in the past seven months or so. Sometimes there has been nothing, but on two occasions after the Knesset elections there were rocket attacks and last time, on June 24, two residents of Kiryat Shmona were killed.
"We have Rosh Hashana coming up and already the cancelations for bookings at hotels and guest houses are beginning. Unfortunately we have, to some extent, become accustomed such a situation, although I'm sure that anybody who stayed here in the past six months or so would have found it intolerable."
The commander of the armed forces called upon the military to
confront the "Israeli" aggressions
(5)
"The commander of the Lebanese armed forces Major Michel Sulaiman today
(yesterday) inspected the military units that are spread across the area
of Mount Lebanon.
"Major Sulaiman talked to his troops about the "Israeli" threats against the Lebanese army, pointing out that these threats came as a result of the resolute stances that were established by President Emil Lahud. He also confirmed that these stances were taken from the Lebanese public as a result of their interaction with the army, adding that this interaction resulted in the unification of the Lebanese people with the army.
"The commander concluded by calling upon the military to be vigilant and prepared to confront any "Israeli" aggression".
"Israeli" militiamen get tough sentences
(6)
"The Military Tribunal handed down harsh sentences to two former pro-"Israeli"
militiamen on Wednesday.
"Tony and Charbel Khawand were sentenced to 15 years and seven years
in prison respectively after they were found guilty of conducting operations
that threatened Lebanons security during their time with the South Lebanon
Army militia. Tonys verdict and sentence were handed down in absentia.
The two men were among 220 SLA members who surrendered to the authorities after the militia pulled out from Jezzine in June.
"Five other SLA members were given one-year sentences while two more received six- month jail terms. An elderly man received a one-year sentence which was suspended because of his age.
One hundred and two former SLA militiamen have stood trial before the tribunal which meets every Wednesday. Before the latest rulings, all sentences varied between six and 12 months.
Mofaz moves to oust chief chaplain, 78
(7)
Commando bodies fiasco was last straw
"IDF** Chief of Staff Shaul Mofaz is actively engaged in an effort
to bring about the discharge of the chief chaplain, Major General Gad Navon,
from the army.
"Following the fiasco in which body parts of naval commandos killed in an abortive raid in Lebanon were buried in the wrong graves, and ongoing problems in the functioning of the Chaplain Corps, the IDF reached the conclusion that a sweeping change was necessary in the corps.
Efforts are currently under way to find an arrangement that will be acceptable to Rabbi Navon and bring about his retirement within a few months.
"The 78-year-old Navon has been the IDF's chief chaplain for 22 years. Objections have been raised in the army to his lengthy service in the post, since other senior officers usually serve for no more than four or five years.
"Senior officers said recently that "the time has come for Navon to retire" and "It is clear that the chief chaplain will conclude his service. The only question is whether it will be before or after the conclusions of the commission of inquiry that is investigating the episode of the naval commandos."
"A prominent member of the rabbinical establishment met this week with senior figures in the defense establishment to emphasize the need for changes in the Chaplain Corps. This rabbi said the time had come "to inject new blood" into the IDF's stagnant rabbinate.
"The IDF wants to lower the chief chaplain's rank by one notch, from major general to brigadier general. This is apparently what Mofaz was referring to a month ago when he said that he intends to reduce the number of posts held by major generals in the General Staff."
