Raad : Resistance will continue until liberation is completed…(1)

The Head of Bloc of Loyalty to Resistance MP Mohammed Raad expressed “astonishment” at Knutsson’s statement and described it as a “breach of our sovereignty.”
“Hizbullah will continue to fight until the liberation of the last grain of sand of our territory,” he told Al-Jazeera TV. “The Lebanese resistance knows where to strike and when, and “Israel” should get out of our land.”
“From 1967, through the Palestinian resistance in the 1970s and up to now, we have been at the forefront of resistance and jihad. It won’t be much longer now before all our land is liberated,” said a young man who refused to be identified. “Everyone here from babies to old men are for the resistance,” he added.
Kfar Shuba lies opposite the Shibaa Farms district. Residents heard the blast of the roadside bomb near the Jabal Sommaq outpost, 3 kilometers to the south, and saw the smoke billowing into the sky.
The Zohra family has good reason to worry about future developments in the area. They are shepherds who live in Bastara, the only original Shibaa Farmstead still inhabited by Lebanese.
With no amenities such as running water and electricity, Qassem Zohra and his family are forced to undertake daily trips along a 5-kilometer rutted track to Kfar Shuba.
Faced with the prospect of being cut off from the rest of Lebanon if fighting flares, Qassem shrugged his shoulders.
“We’ve lived like this for 30 years and we’ll continue to live here until all our land is liberated,” he said. “We all support the resistance and are ready to fight with them.”

Sayyed Fadlallah: "Annan's reports encourages “Israel” to carry out aggressions"…(2)

Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah maintained that the Islamic Resistance's operation in Shibaa Farms Thursday against “Israeli” patrols a legitimate resistance operation, which does not contradict U.N resolution 425 because the “Israeli” pullout from Lebanese territories called for by the resolution has not been completed.

During his Friday speech , Sayyed Fadlallah expressed his astonishment towards the the Security Council decision, which calls on Lebanon to secure the border for the enemy instead of demanding the “Israeli” army to withdraw from Shibaa Farms and other still occupied Lebanese soil.

Ayatollah  Fadlallah added that the U.N report will encourage “Israel” to go on with its assaults on Lebanon. He regretted that the UN Secretary-General's decisions and vision of things comply with the American policy.

Palestinian refugees start boycott of US goods to support intifada…(3)

Palestinian refugees launched a campaign Friday to boycott US goods in solidarity with the Palestinian uprising against “Israel”.
Dozens of youths set fire to various US-made products over piles of US and “Israeli” flags at the Bas, Rashidieh, and Bourj Shemali refugee camps near Tyre.
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat’s mainstream Fatah faction has declared a state of alert among its ranks in the camps amid escalating clashes between “Israel” and the Palestinians.
Fatah’s representative in Lebanon, Sultan Abul-Aynayn, said during a press conference he held at the Rashidieh camp that all camps took precautions fearing an “Israeli” attack.
Abul-Aynayn added that Palestinians rejected the possibility that “Lebanon becomes victim of another “Israeli” aggression.”
At the entrances of the camps, young men and women held banners calling for the boycott of products made in the US.
“Actively show your support for the children of the intifada, who throw stones against “Israeli” tanks and who face shots with their bare chests,” a banner read.
They also raised a picture of 12-year-old Palestinian Mohammed Durra, who became the symbol of the intifada after he was shot by “Israeli” troops while cowering in his father’s arms in the Gaza Strip.
“It’s the price of a US-made cigarette box or a drink that paid for the bullet that killed Durra,” said a banner.
A placard, signed by the Boycott Committee of US-Made Products, called for a “search for substitutes of American goods.”
The committee was made up of representatives of several Palestinian opposition parties, including the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
At the Ain Hilweh camp in Sidon, Palestinian students who supported Arafat participated in a weapons drill at the Badr Islamic School.
Meanwhile Fatah’s fighters assumed their usual positions in the camp without any conspicuous display of weapons.
More than 20 Palestinian children, dubbed “cubs,” learned about the use of Kalashnikovs and rocket-propelled grenades and marched in full military gear. The children are part of the Mohammed al-Durra group formed by Fatah to train Palestinian children. “Cub” Rami said he was learning to use arms to “avenge” al-Durra’s death, adding that Palestinian children would “fight Jews when they grow older.”
Senior Fatah commander Munir Maqdah said the alert was declared “to defend the camps and Lebanon in view of the “Israeli” threats.” He added that such measures would be taken as long as “Israelis” kill Palestinians and threaten Lebanon. “The “Israeli” occupation will not know security nor stability as long as one inch of our Palestinian and Arab lands is occupied.”
He added, “We will not do anything that could harm Lebanon’s interests.”
Separately, Palestinian popular unions staged a massive demonstration at Sidon’s Martyrs’ Square. Demonstrators lit candles to protest against “Israeli” troop killings of Palestinians and urged the international community to pressure “Israel” to stop the “genocide.”

“Israeli” soldiers shot dead three Palestinians and a Jordanian…(4)

Seven weeks of uprising have passed and more Palestinians are martyred. Three Palestinians and one Jordanian are Friday's intifadah martyrs. They were shot dead by “Israeli” soldiers in clashes which erupted in Gaza strip and West Bank.

Hospital officials in Gaza said a bullet ripped through 17-year-old Rami Emad Yassin’s heart during clashes between troops and Palestinian protesters at Karni junction.

Ten people were wounded in the fighting and four of them were in critical condition, the officials added.

In Halhoul village outside the West Bank town of Khalil (Hebron), soldiers shot dead a 14-year-old Azmi Abu Rayyan in the head.

Earlier, a Jordanian was killed as Palestinian protesters battled “Israeli” troops in the West Bank town of Qalqiliya.Hospital officials said Mahmoud Sammour, 38, who was of Palestinian origin, had been hit by a live bullet in the chest.
Witnesses said Sammour had not taken part in the protest.

The latest deaths raised the casualty toll for seven weeks of violence to 235 Palestinians.

In Fawwar, another Palestinian was buried. Samer Al-Khadour, killed in clashes the previous day, was due to get married on Friday. Instead, his family, joined by thousands of Palestinian mourners, attended his funeral.

Earlier, “Israeli” police beefed up security in and around the Old City of Al-Quds in an effort to bar male worshippers aged under 45 from praying at al-Aqsa, Islam's third holiest shrine.  In the morning, “Israeli” soldiers and police stood guard at A-Ram checkpoint in Al-Quds.

Moslem worshippers prayed on the streets outside the gates of the Old City - as they have done many times before over the past seven weeks.

Moreover,”Israeli” troops shelled positions in the West bank town of Ramallah on Friday. Palestinian gunmen appeared to return fire from their positions towards the top of the building.

The “Israeli” army said its soldiers fought gun battles with Palestinians during the night near the West Bank towns of Tulkarm, Jericho and Hebron and in two places in Gaza.

Hospital officials said troops killed two Palestinian policemen near the ancient town of Jericho late on Thursday. The army said it had ``attacked a group of armed Palestinian militants who opened fire at the Vered Jericho settlement.''

A Palestinian security official said the two policemen had been shot in cold blood. ``We reject the “Israeli” claims that they were involved in a gun battle,'' he said.

One of the policemen, 35-year-old Khaled Salameh, was buried in Jericho on Friday. The body of the other was to be returned to his family in Jordan, residents said.
