HIZBULLAH SAYS IT WILL KEEP ATTACKING "ISRAEL" DESPITE NEGOTIATIONS…(1)
"Lebanon's Hizbullah movement warned in remarks published Friday that it will keep attacking "Israeli" troops in south Lebanon. "Hizbullah operations will not stop before or after the negotiations", set to continue Monday in the United States, Hizbullah press officer Muaffaq Jamal said, quoted by the press. The attacks on the "Israelis" "aren't linked to specific political developments but are part of a policy of hostility toward the "Israeli" enemy which will continue until it withdraws completely from our territory," he said. The daily As-Safir said Friday that the car bombing was "a message from the resistance to "Israel" saying that the military operations will continue despite that country's pressure for them to stop." The An-Nahar newspaper said Hizbullah planned operations during the negotiations, while Ad-Diyar said "the attack confirms the resistance's intentions not to respect any truce during the talks."

"On the occasion of the birth of the Prophet of Mercy and the Apostle of Humanity Jesus the son of Mary (A. S.), Hizbullah and the Municipality of Iyat held a "Friendly Meeting" at the St. George Church in the town.

"The celebration was attended by Imam Khamenei's Representative in Lebanon his Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek, Dair al-Ahmar Maronite Pastor Metropolitan Monjed al-Hashem, Municipal Council members and residents.

"Sheikh Yazbek stressed the need for adhering to the teachings of Master Christ (A. S.) that are stated in the Holy Quran and the Holy Gospel.

"The Lebanese society has turned into a united brotherly resistance society; national melting has been achieved among its sons because this society has abided by these teachings that were sent to all humankind without discrimination, Yazbek said.

"The Islamic Resistance men have defeated the ("Israeli") enemy, which is usurping our soil and rights, with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (A. S.) and the commandments of Prophet Jesus (A. S.), for both stood against injustice and assisted the oppressed, he added.

In turn, Metropolitan Hashem blessed the meeting "which shows the deep sincere brotherly relations between the Christians and their brother Moslems, for these ties are based on love, tolerance and coexistence, especially in the Baalback-Hirmel area."

Al-Hashem commended the role of the Resistance in the south and the western Beqaa.

The Resistance has made Lebanon proud at international and regional forums, he said, wishing that "next year will see Lebanon liberated from the "Israeli" occupation and recovering its role with the united efforts of its faithful sons."

The "Israeli" occupying troops launched the following aggressions:
Between 00:30 and 6:45, Mount Sojod was bombarded by fourteen 120mm shells.
2:20, the perimeters of Yohmor village came under a number of 60mm rounds and a volley of 12.7mm heavy machine gun bullets.
2:35, a barrage of 12.7mm heavy machine gun bullets struck Arnoun town.
3:15, Habboush River watercourse exposed to 12.7mm heavy machine gun fire.
4:25, six 155mm missiles slammed into Sawan area between the villages of Choukine and Jibsheit.
4:35, six 155mm missiles hit Jib Soweid area, east of Majdal Zoun village.
Between 4:35 and 4:45, Qaissieh Valley was targeted by six 155mm missiles.
4:40, two 155mm missiles fell on the perimeters of Touline and one another on the peripheries of Khorbet Selem.
Between 4:40 and 7:55, the outskirts of Jibaa came under eleven 155mm missiles.
6:30, the west of Yater village was hit by six 155mm missiles.
12:35, five 120mm shells were fired at Hassan ravine.
14:40, a barrage of 12.7mm heavy machine gun rounds struck the residential neighborhoods of Majdal Zoun.

The IR team of martyrs Mohammad Haidar El-Hajj Ali and Hani Ali Taha attacked, at 00:30, enemy military vehicles near Bir Kallab outpost with the rocket-propelled grenades. Direct and certain hits were scored, the militants told.

In the meantime, the IR squad of martyrs Ibrahim Mohammad Qassfeh and Fadi Taissir Batsh was rushing upon a Lahdi engineering force near Sojod compound. Using the rocket-propelled grenades, the mujahedeen were able to chalk up direct goals.
