July Wednesday 22-1998:

Introduction
"Israel" escalated, militarily, the situation along the areas adjacent to the occupied enclave whereas its jets raided into the area located between Ain Tineh and Mashghara.

This escalation was escorted by holding "Israel" the responsibility for recent tension as a statement of the Five-Nation Cease-Fire Committee reported.

Meanwhile, it was reported that many of Lahd's militiamen refused to serve at Toumat Niha position after it had become an easy target for the Islamic Resistance men.

The Abortive "Israeli" Raid on Insarieh
AFP quoted MK (Labor Party) Youna Yahaf as saying that a number of military confidential documents had been disappeared at the air force base from which the "Israeli" naval commandos came to carry out its operation.

Yahaf made it clear that the documents which are related to the operation had been stolen two weeks before its execution.

He demanded "Israel's" defense ministry to reveal the conditions of stealing these documents.
The preliminary reports of "Israel's" Army had pointed out the possibility of leaking information. Later on, it ruled out this possibly to confirm that the commandos had penetrated, accidentally, a land mine field.

Hizbullah's information source clarified: "We cann't say other than what Hizbullah's Secretary General H.E. Sayed Hassan Nassrallah had said over the information the Islamic Resistance had gained. The world will be astonished when they will be made public".

"Israeli" Aggressions:
Two "Israeli" fighters (2) launched, at 1:30pm, three sorties on the western hilltops of Mashghara and Ain Tineh villages in Western Beqaa. The fighters, releasing anti-missile fares, fired six air-to-ground rockets echoed throughout the region. Several smoke columns were seen emanating from the attacked area.

It is worth noting that the targeted area had exposed to a number of sorties this year.

During the nights the "Israeli" warplanes and helicopters flew over the front line of Western Beqaa where they were confronted by the Lebanese Army and Islamic Resistance's anti-aircraft guns.

Also, Toumat position, manned by Lahd's militiamen, fired at 6:00am and for about one hour five 81mm mortar shells at the southern and eastern heights facing to the position and heavy machine gun fire at the western woodlands of Mashghara and Ain Tineh and the surroundings of Ain El-Amin.

Meanwhile, Mazraat Loussi, Qatraneh Mountain and the peripheries of Sraireh exposed at dawn to "Israeli" shelling from Toumat Niha compound. Furthermore, the positions of Kawkaba, Toumat Niha and Zimraya shelled Mazraat Ahmadieh, Dahr Mountain, Meimess area and the heights of Dallafeh.

Expulsion (4)
The "Israeli" troops deported the citizen Abdel-Karim Noura, 46, taxi driver, from his village Debbine to outside of the occupied enclave via Kfar Tibbnit crossing point. The causes of detention remained unknown, while his family member are still in the village.

Noura's relatives mentioned that he had been under house arrest in Debbine after he had been interrogated four months ago. So, he preferred to be out of the occupied enclave.

However, the security sources reported that the national Imad Ahmad Soweid was released after he had been taken to Khiam detention camp ten days before.

"Israeli" Agents' Fears (5)
The news from the occupied enclave of Jezzine said "that the "Israeli" collaborators in their sector refused to serve in Toumat Niha outpost, which they call the "suicide outpost" due to the successful blows dealt to the "Israeli" troops and their surrogates by the Islamic Resistance men.

The "Israelis" are facing difficulties in finding militiamen to guard and man Toumat Niha outpost in spite of the advanced allurements, especially financial ones, sources in the occupied enclave said.

These allurements failed to convince Lahd's militiamen to man the outpost, for two militia squads had been killed in the oupost in the past four years in Islamic Resistance attacks, the sources added stressing that following the series of successful operations launched by the Islamic Resistance, the situation of the "Israeli" agents get worse.

The command of Lahd's Militia is seeking to meet the so-called "Israeli" liaison unit as the "Israeli" command refuses to position "Israeli" soldiers in the outpost claiming it is outside what "Israel" calls the security enclave.

Islamic Resistance Operations (6):
00:20, the group of martyr Zaher Hmadi targeted Islamic Resistance movements inside and near Baraasheit compound with the proper arms chalking up direct goals.
19:15, the group of two martyrs Abdel-Amir Ahmad Fadel and Khalil Moussa Hammoud attacked the enemy soldiers near Sojod outpost with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.
19:30, the group of two martyrs Fadi Ali Abboud and Mohammad Mahmoud Ismail attacked Bir Kallab outpost with the machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades scoring direct and definite hits.
24:00, the group of both martyrs Ali Najib Choaib and Bilal Ibrahim Al-Darnouh targeted enemy movements at the road linking between Sojod And Rihan villages.

Three-year imprisonment (7)
The Permanent Military Court headed by the brigadier General Hussein Chahin passed in absentia a sentence of three-year imprisonment against Pierre Atallah and five thousand Lebanese Pounds as a fine. The indictment is that he entered the enemy country without getting permission in addition to contempting the Lebanese security and judicial authorities.

The International Criminal Court (8)
So far, twenty six states including France, Italy and Spain, had signed the project of setting up an international criminal court under the command of the United Nations. The concerned court is said to try those who accused of perpetrating crimes against the humanity.

The United States of America opposed the project and asserted that it will seek to amend some of its terms. "Israel", in its turn, rejected the subject for it considers the Jewish settlements in West Bank and Gaza Strip as war crimes, knowing that this clause is included in the 1949 Geneva Fourth Agreement.

It is worth noting that, until now, about 120 countries had agreed to sign this project.

Knesset impedes restoring Golan Heights (9)
Amid the American and "Israeli" protests to the constitution of the International Criminal Court, the "Israeli' Knesset sanctioned with overwhelming majority the draft law over opposing any withdrawal from Golan Height, except if performing referendum and getting Parliament's absolute majority.

The measure, which has the backing of both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Labor opposition leader Ehud Barak, stipulates that no handover of "Israeli"-occupied territory could take place without a referendum and an absolute majority in Parliament. Before becoming law, the bill would still need to pass through committee as well as three readings in Parliament.

A discovery relutes Zionist allegements (10)
"Israeli" archaeologists confirmed that Quds had been an advanced city three thousand years ago i.e. before it had been invaded by Hebrews.

The recent excavations, made at Silwan Quarter of the occupied Eastern Quds where the city was in the past, resulted in discovering a complicated system of dragging water which goes back to 1800 years before Christmas i.e. before 800 years of the invasion attributed by Torah to the King David.

So far, the "Israeli" scientists have had a conviction that Hebrews had developed and set up the most sophisticated and safe system of dragging water in the Middle East region.

The "Israeli" archeologist Gidon Avni had acknowledged that this discovery "will certainly change our whole view about David's city. King David didn't build up a new city".

Roni Rik, another "Israeli" archeologist said: "I am sorry, Mr. David and Mr. Suleiman didn't appear in this story".

No doublt, the Zionists and "Israelis" will spend a very long time, and nevertheless, they will never have any evidence that can uphold their claims. Rather the evidences will show more and more that the Arabic history and elements are deeply rooted in this region, especially Palestine.
