JWU AREA of Operations

The JWU area of operations extends over 500 sq. km. with over 25,000 consumers connections representing 200,000 people. The length of the network is approximately 700 km consisting of pipes of different sizes, ranging from 1/2 inch to 16 inches.

In the Ramallah area or district, there are no official records for the Palestinian population (nor the number of Israeli settlers and/or Israeli government military and Civil Administration personnel). Below is only an estimate of the population served in the Ramallah area.
