In the past weeks two Palestinian houses have been demolished in the Jerusalem area, both at the initiative of the Interior Ministry. (Nathan Sharansky who from time to time likes to show off as The Big Liberal, is simultaneously waging a war against Palestinian homes).

- June 13th, a house was demolished in Jabel Mukabar. The house belonged to an Arab family, which was fighting for years for a right to rebuild their crumbling old house, and to make it legal.

- June 5, a house in Walaje, south of Jerusalem - demolished with the help of some forty jeeps full of soldiers. The crime of the Khalifa family: their wish to have decent housing in their village, on their own land.
