A call from homeland (2)

At a time Israeli occupation forces decide the map of our homeland through intensifying  settlements.. at a time Barak insists on his known no’s including the attempt in resettlement in Diaspora and at a time Israeli occupation strike the Lebanese people and destroying its infrastructure,

At the same time supporters and opposers of Oslo realize the impossibility of accomplishing our people just rights in return, self –determination and establishing the Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, Palestinian Central Council met and reiterated that year 2000 is the year for the Palestinian state. We see in this reiteration another weak and exposed maneuver on the expense of our just rights.

We confirm here our people’s demands that Palestine is owned by Palestinian people, Arab and Islamic nations and the generations to come. It is undivided and no body has the right to decide its fate in light of the imbalance of power. Therefore, we demand:

  1. The actual withdrawal from negotiations.
  2.  Terminating using Palestinian people as a bridge for crossing to the Arab and Islamic worlds. Let’s all work to achieve the principle of legitimacy, rule of law, establishing an independent legal authority that accounts for all phenomena of corruption, spoiling and monopoly.
And ending the state of separation between the citizen and the country through true confrontation of the new-old bloc, which divided our people into: a small group, which possesses money and a big marginalized group. Let’s be one big body entitled to solidarity. Let’s act to increase the margin of freedom; liberating media means to play its role in unveiling the defects, mistakes and discuss the general situation away from the domination of one opinion; releasing Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails; forbidding political arrest; canceling the role of the State Security Court; directing investments to a productive sector away from underemployment; conducting representation elections for our people whenever it is possible and assuring periodic elections to preserve truth and credibility of the elected and rejecting the principle of appointing in local councils. We reiterate our support to crushed groups particularly teachers, small employees, security personnel and to dignity of our prisoners, martyrs and injured.

We salute the supportive stand of the Lebanese army behind the resistance in the South. We confirm that the way to Palestine, liberating the south (Lebanon) and the Golan, is the way of Hizbullah.. the way of resistance.. the way of returning the relationship with the occupation to its natural state. We call upon masses of Arab and Islamic nations to reject compliance to the American and we confirm our non-responding to the Israeli scheme of separating the various Arab tracks of negotiation.

We, signatories of this statements confirm our condemnation to the continuous series of arrests, on opinion bases, and we request the release of Dr. Abdel Sattar Qasem and all the political prisoners so that our people’s demands in releasing Palestinain freedom prisoners in Israeli jails will be understood by the Paelstinain, Arab and international community…

Glory to the martyrs, freedom to prisoners
Together in building a free democratic home for all
