Palestine is a Arabic country in the Middle East, it has been occupied by the Israelis since the start of this century ever since many wars occurred in the region, lots of people were killed , the Palestinians were forced to leave there home land and they became refugees in all over the world, the Palestinian cause is now one of the major issues in the world, many countries in accordance to the United Nations tried to solve this issue, but they didn't succeed until now.
In 1992 A peace treaty was signed between the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Israeli government, according to this treaty the Palestinians established what is called the Local Authority.
Geographical Background
This is Palestine map, as you can see it is on the Mediterranean sea, it is surrounded by four Arab countries Egypt from the south, Jordan from the east , Lebanon and Syria from the North.
How it all started
By the end of the last century Palestine was part of the Ottoman Impire, this was not considered an occupation because the Ottomans were Muslims and it was an Islamic State, however after the First World War, Palestine as all other countries (except Saudi Arabia and North Yemen) were occupied by either the British or the French, Palestine was occupied by the British.
In 1917 the British government gave an unjust promise to the Jews, to give them the land of Palestine to establish their state , and since that promise was made the Palestinians and there Arabs brothers fought bravely to save there land , but due to lack of good weapons they lost.

Summary of Wars Record
In 1948 the Israeli state was declared, and a war began, Arabs didn't have any good weapons and the Israelis were well equipped by the British government, so they manage to win that war.
In 1967 another war started, the Arabs were not prepared enough and they lost again, the rest of Palestine land , Sinai(Egypt) and Golan Heights (Syria) were also occupied.
In 1973 the Ramadan war started, but this time the Arabs leaded by Egypt were well prepared the Egyptians and the Arabs fought a big battle on the Egyptian front, and victory was accomplished, Sinai was free again.
In 1982 the Israeli army invaded South Lebanon to destroy the Palestinian resistance there under the leadership of the PLO the Palestinian with their light weapons (machine guns &nsp RPJ's) managed to stop the invasion for 80 days.
However they had to leave Lebanon after being let down by the whole world.
The Palestinians felt that the world had abandon them, and since they don't have the weapons to fight for their rights, they invented a unique way of fighting, using the most available weapon "STONES".
The "INTIFADA" began in 1986, it was leaded and fought by kids of ages between 10 to 16 (most of the older young men were already in prison), kids, women and old people all united became the new army of Palestine, they simply refused to die , they new what their goal is and went right ahead to accomplish it "FREEDOM" and since then till now they are Sabiroon.
