On 12 September, a Delegation from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation visited the Program. The delegation consisted of Mr. Serge Chappatte, Assistant Director General of the Agency; Mrs. Francois Chappatte; Mr. Hans Schellenberg, Deputy Head of the Middle East and North Africa Division in the Agency; and Mr. Fritz Froehlica, Deputy Head of the Swiss Representative Office to the PA.

The guests met GCMHP Director, Dr. Eyad El-Sarraj; Mr. Ahmad Abu Tawahina, Deputy Director; and Mr. Husam El-Nounou, PR Coordinator; and discussed the general political and social situation in Palestine. In addition, the visiting delegation was put in view of the peace process and its effects on the different aspects of Palestinian life.

Also, the guests met Dr. Abdel Aziz Thabit, the Program Manager at GCMHP, to discuss the activities of the "Rehabilitating Survivors of Human Rights Violations" project that is partially funded by the Swiss Agency. Moreover, the visitors accompanied Mr. Anwar Wadi, social worker, on a home visit to a former political prisoner.
