GCMHP Holds a Workshop on "Strategic Planning for the
Next 5 Years"
On 28-30 April 1999, GCMHP held a workshop on "Strategic Planning for
the Next 5 Years". The workshop was organized in order to lay the
basis for GCMHP's plans till 2004.
Over the three-day event, all the activities, projects, and departments
were discussed in detail. In addition, the participants discussed
all the outstanding professional, administrative, and financial problems
and laid down plans in order to overcome and resolve them.
Moreover, the workshop included establishing a vision and defining
the strategic approach through which services, training, research should
be conducted.
Dr. Khaliel Nijim of Bisan Center for Research and Development facilitated
the workshop in which 20 GCMHP department heads, project officers, administrators,
and volunteers participated.
