From 4-7 October, Ms. Melene Mikkelsen, the Program Coordinator in
the Research Council for Torture Victims (RCT) in Denmark, visited GCMHP.
During her visit, Ms. Mikkelsen conducted a series of meetings and discussions
with the senior staff of the Program in order to enhance the cooperation
between the RCT and GCMHP over the next two years. In addition, Ms.
Mikkelsen and members of the "Rehabilitating Survivors of Human Rights
Violations" project developed a three-year proposal for the project.
Moreover, agreement was reached over cooperation between GCMHP and RCT
in the fields of therapy, Training, and research. It is worth mentioning
that RCT has been one of the major donors for the "Rehabilitating Survivors
of Human Rights Violations" project.
