On 23 February 1999, A delegation of Defense for Children International visited GCMHP. The delegation members were Professor Donald Cohen of Yale University, Helmut Remschmidt, President of IACAPAP, Ernesto Caffo, Vice President of IACAPAP, and Dr. Jocelyn Hattab.
The delegation met the members of the GCMHP Children's Committee and
discussed the activities of the committee in treating traumatized children.
In addition, the guests discussed the possibilities of cooperation with
the Program in the areas of supervision of committee members and training
in the area of treating traumatized children. Moreover, it was agreed
to initiate coordination to prepare for a workshop on "Disorders in Children".
