A Delegation from Australian
Council of Churches visits GCMHP
On 26 September 1998, a 17-member delegation from the Australian Council
of Churches visited the Gaza Community Mental Health Program. The
delegation met Mr. Husam El-Nounou, the Public Relations Coordinator, who
briefed them on the different activities of the Program. Mr. El-Nounou
also put the visitors in view of the various psychosocial problems caused
by the Israeli occupation and practices, afflicting the Palestinian community.
The guests expressed their admiration of the services that GCMHP offers.
They also conveyed their support to the Palestinian people in these difficult
times.
