of the Rubble
From
underneath the Rubble, we emerge. A small candle but a determined light.
In the middle of gloom and doom, we rise, carrying the banner of hope.

One
day we will
be free
.
One
day we will liberate
our land
.
One
day we will have peace
.
|
For
that day to come, we will not sit and wait. We will nurture our roots here
in this land, care for our children, and tend our wounds.
If
they prevent us from crossing the border, they cannot stop us from planting
roses.
If
some have lost their soul in quest of power and empire, we will continue
to live on the grounds, breathe the clean air of Palestine and fly in its
blue sky.
And
when all is gone, we will be here
