Israeli Psychological Warfare

The uprooting of Palestinians in 1948 has left a deep impact on their inner psyche with a focal point of fear and insecurity. Throughout the military occupation Israel has embarked on a policy of intimidation and harassment of Palestinian resistance. From the evidence of research, it is clear that Israeli strategy has targeted symbols of security in the Palestinian life. The land, the house and the father figure were systematically attacked by various methods including confiscation, destruction, torture and humiliation.
The effects are devastating on the individual and collective state of
mental health. The paper will examine evidence and effects.
