Installing the internet connection

As we are approaching the 21st Century, CPNP is trying to cope with the  revolutionary development in the world of communication "the internet", and it's astonishing impacts and vital necessity for both Education and Research.

The computer room was established and used mainly through the joint Palestinian-Israeli project "Migratory Birds Know No Boundaries" .

Aims:

  1. To introduce students to the internet in general.

  2. To track the migration routes through the internet by data provided through satellites. Satellite Argos receives signals transmitted through small transmitters installed on birds., such as the White Stork.

  3. To analyze the data in different methods such as calculating the distance , routes and even the nesting sites had proved to be very  interactive and appealing to students.
