" Important Bird Areas in Palestine (IBA's) Workshop"

       Fifty participants joined this workshop from different areas and organizations (Locally regionally and internationally) such as;

1. PNA includes: Educational, Environmental, Agricultural, Transportation,  and Tourism Ministries, and other organizations from PNA.
   

2) Non Governmental Organizations (NGO's) in Palestine:

Environmental Protection Society /Jenin, CDNEF/Jerusalem, Palestinian  Hydrology Group(PHG , PARC/Ramalla, Marda for Sustainability Center /Salfiet, Wildlife Palestine, Teachers Union/Jerusalem, Bier Zait University and CPNP Staff .

3) UNDP/ UNRWA organizations and from other different organizations in

        Palestine.

      4) Regionally Joint Organizations: Palestinian /Israeli Environmental Secretariat:

      5) Bird Life International /Middle East Division - Jordan and Bird Life

                International Head Office / United Kingdom.

      6) The Dutch Representative Office /Ramallah.

Recommendations:

1. Communicating and coordinating with the local environmental societies in the
   

                           IBA project in Palestine for the future study and to protected.

1. Collecting the Bird Data to prepare the list of birds in Palestine.
   

2. Involving different new natural  sites  in the future from other areas in 
   

                          Palestine.

1. Establishing  "a National Network "for the IBA's in Palestine, which has an
   

                           Official act of Performance in this issue.

1. The IBA book should be the first step for other different activities and projects.
   

2. Introducing the first IBA book project through the Internet.
   

3. Eco Tourism: Introducing the Eco Tourism Concepts and activities to the 
   

                             Palestinian Society  in the future.
