Democracy is a capitalist idea which colonialism tries to spread in the world in general, and in the Islamic world in particular. Its aim is to control the resources of the Islamic nation. After failing to defeat the nation through military actions, they used the weapon of thoughts. They attempted to find methods and guardians to protect their interests and implement their plans. Democracy means the rule of the people. In other words, human minds rule and not God, while in reality it is God who rules. As He says in the Koran: "Rule them by what God gave you" and "Who does not rule by what God said, is a disbeliever". Democracy arose after the separation of religion and life. Its existence in a particular place means the exile of religion from this place. Democracy and Islam contradict. Islam sees democracy as a forbidden system that should not be applied as a system for human life. Its origins are ungodly, because that which does not originate from Islam is forbidden. As Allah says, "those who say that they believe in what was given and what was given before you want to apply the ungodly rules between them and they know that this is disbelief in God". Because of this, democracy is ungodly system that should be attacked by Islam and all must understand this, in particular educated people within universities.

Avoid falling against Allah when you are aware of this. Do not reject Allah's Book and the 'sunneh' of Prophet Mohammad. Allah said "those who reject his orders will face a strong punishment."
This is about democracy. For elections it is a method used by capitalists and others. Elections have no relationship with principles and religions. Elections are used to chose representatives of people and Prophet Mohammad used this method when he said to Ansar "Give me twelve representatives who can be sponsors of their people."
Elections are permitted, but connecting it to political conspiracy is the forbidden. Also forbidden is the connection of elections to forbidden acts which lead ungodly people to control the life of believers. Allah said: "Allah will never enable the disbeliever to control the life of believers."
Student council elections in our country have become part of a publicized political game and a part of the political situation which is ruled by the forces of disbelievers. They are a reflection of the existing political weakness and so there is no hope in these election. It is only a meaningless, yearly routine that wastes the energy of our youth instead of doing the right thing. It takes them away from doing the good deeds which reinforce their religion and nation, which ultimately is the work to establish Allah's rule on earth and assign a caliph that applies Allah's orders in his rule
"You believers, respond to God and his Prophet when he invites you to what makes you alive."
