Blocs In Action Day 2
The first day of the election campaign began with the traditional round of election campaign rallys. During these rallies the blocs aim to demonstrate the main points and themes of their campaigns.
Unity
Unity began the second day of campaining by marching through the university with Palestinian, Iraqi and Lebanese flags. They then performed Dabke and representatives of the bloc spoke about points from their program with a particular emphasis on Palestinian prisoners. Unity also set up a tent on campus representing Palestinian refugees .

An Nahdah
An Nahdah began their rally by marching from the nearby Faculty of Commerce. Members of Al Nahdah dressed as Palestinian and Israeli negotiators reenacted the signing of the Oslo Accords and attempted to display their opposition to the signing of the accords.

Change Bloc
Change bloc began by bringing a large stone from which they pulled out a Palestinian flag and a bloodied t-shirt. They then performed a show expalining why the society should be respectful of democratic dialogue. Three "martyrs" then held a dialogue with a Palestinian about the current situation.

Jerusalem Bloc
Following a similar pattern from last year, the Jerusalem Bloc marched into the central area of the university wearing the traditional black and white Palestinian Keffiyeh. Their speakers stressed their confidence in the election results and also responded to allegations from other blocs that they were the "party of the Palestinian Authority".

Student Union
The Student Union introduced their representatives for the student council who each read a sentence describing their political and organizational platform.

Islamic Group
The Islamic Group began their rally with readings from the Quran and then a representative bloc spoke about Fathi Shiqaqi who was assassinated in Malta in 1995 and is held in high respect by the group.

Democratic Pole
The Democratic Pole performed the traditional Palestinian dance, Dabke, while carrying coloured fabric representing a rainbow, the symbol of their group. Representatives from the Pole then compared their policies to both the Islamic and Jerusalem Bloc groups and stressed the issue of freedom of expression on campus.
