Greetings Brothers and
Sisters
The crisis facing the Palestinian political establishment is
reflected in the student movement
making it weak and almost impotent and preventing it from being
able to act, behave, or make
independent descisions. We believe in the need to face these
problems and to change our reality
for the better. We hope to encourage individuals take on
responsibility for their homeland and
their nation and to employ their cultural strengths and
intellectual abilities.
As students representing the youth of Palestine, we have the
power to change the future of our
nation. We have the power to build and to reconstruct. This is
not accomplished by following
descisions that were made in our absence, but by freedom of
thought and by making independent
and courageous descisions.
We see that we as students can only act in one of the following
ways:
A.To be followers and let others make the decisions for us,
B.To stand aside and watch, unable to find a party that
represents our beliefs,
C. To create a movement inside the university and based on the
student reality which reflects our
thoughts and beliefs.
