7 km to the north west of Ramallah is Ein Kenya, a beautiful nature reserve named after the natural spring it contains. Here you will see a variety of wild plants, birds and animals including deer, porcupine, wild boar, and jackals. Good for walks, picnics and climbing. Entrance is free and the reserve can be reached by bus from Ramallah, or by arrangement with local taxi drivers. A 7-seater taxi can be hired for around 60-79 NIS for the round trip. Arrange to be picked up later by the driver.
