MUHAMMAD ABDEL-AZIZ HAMDAN
REMANDED IN CUSTODY FOR 21 DAYS

from the Human Rights Action Project

Birzeit--This evening at 4:00 pm Judge Jana sitting in the Russian Compound remanded Muhammad Abdel-Aziz Hamdan in detention for 21 days. Mr. Hamdan was returned from the court to interrogation. Israeli General Security Service (GSS) interrogators requested that the judge extend Mr. Hamdan’s detention by 30 days. His lawyer, Adv. Elia Theodory, petitioned for his immediate release.
