Nigel Parry, nparry@admin.birzeit.edu, and Yasser Darweesh, photoman@admin.birzeit.edu, are staff members of Birzeit University's Public Relations Office. Nigel Parry (pictured right) works as webmaster and IT coordinator of the office, and was responsible for the design and construction of the "on the ground in ramallah" website, as well as the Photo Diary. Yasser Darweesh (pictured left) is the university photographer and took may of the photographs used on the website.
Catherine Grosso, cgrosso@admin.birzeit.edu, works in the Human Rights Action Project based in the Birzeit University Public Relations Office. Cathi did much of the selection, typing and HTMLing of the various statements and articles reproduced in the website, as well as offering suggestions of where the site could go.
Hanan Elmasu, bzuced!hjelmasu@baraka.org, works as Assistant to the Director at Birzeit University's Continuing Education Department and undertook the research for the overview of the developments as well as all of the image scanning for the website.
Marwan Tarazi, mtarazi@admin.birzeit.edu, is director of the Computer Center at Birzeit University, and oversees the computing activities at the university. Marwan offered a personal reflection of the first day of the events. Rania Baramki, rania@baraka.org, undertook research on the Internet to see what was already available about the small war we had here, providing Hanan with much of the material for the overview. Bassem Nasir, bnasir@admin.birzeit.edu, is currently a student at Birzeit and a graduate in chemistry from some American university that I should remember the name of but currently don't! He contributed reflections from the second day of the events.
Kifah al-Fani, c/o pr@admin.birzeit.edu (pictured above) is an English major at Birizeit University and a student photographer. Saleem, saleem@palnet.com, is also a Birzeit student and photographer who, together with Kifah, provided many of the images for the personal diary.
