Daoud Kuttab's homepage: http://www.amin.org/daoud.htm - Palestinian journalist Daoud Kuttab breaks onto the Web with a simple homepage but one that provides links to articles offering his thoughts as a Jerusalem-raised Palestinian. You will find on his page views about everything from Jerusalem, the Palestinian covenant, Netanyahu, films, to statements he has made to various international press and media bodies. Well set out to be an interesting one-man's archive on the peace process. Daoud was recently arrested and released by the Palestinian Authority for broadcasting sessions of the Palestinian Legislative Council on Palestinian television. See the website of his media organisation AMIN for more details. Added to Complete Guide: 27 August 1996 / Review last updated: 28 May 1997.
Nigel Parry's homepage: http://www.birzeit.edu/nigelparry/ - Not yet particularly extensive, this modest website is new, offering links to the Birzeit University website and other sites designed by Nigel. What is unusual is the 'songs & music' section, offering lyrics and downloadable *.wav files of three of his songs, including one about Palestine, called "This Side of Paradise". A first here. Khalid Qutob's homepage: http://www.amin.org/khald/qutob.htm - Khalid Kuttob is a Jerusalem-born, business administration graduate from Birzeit University who launched his homepage in late summer 1996 and has been updating it since then. "If you can think about millions of things to have on a homepage from Jerusalem," he says, "please mail them to me..." My vote is for stories of his ex-girlfriends as there is nothing risqué on any Palestinians websites and reviewing them can get a little dull. Khalid also writes articles, and the page offers links to them. Duh. I can't believe I wrote that last sentence. See what I mean! Recently the homepage has undergone a facelift and looks much better, with new links and a great "walking feet" animated gif.
