As you can appreciate, the Law Center is undertaking a wide range of activities, each of which requires a significant amount of staffing, funding, and know-how. Therefore, we greatly need and appreciate the support of the international community to help us reach our goals. In particular we need assistance with:
From buying books, to supporting each of our projects, we need financial support. What would be ideal would be to have a full sponsor for each of our activities. However, we also greatly appreciate individual monetary donations which can be given to the Law Center in general, or, if so specified by the donor, be applied towards a specific project. For example, we have created the Library Fund, which is a standing fund for the library to purchase library materials, thus helping to ensure the long term success of the library.
We also have a need to benefit from international expertise. This may be substantive legal expertise, legal practice skills, library management, legal information systems and database know-how, public relations, or Arabic-English-French translation. If you have know-how in one of these areas know of others who do, and wish to help us with our activities, please feel free to e-mail us.
As we as yet do not have a standing budget for library acquisitions,
we greatly appreciate the donation of legal materials to our library,
or monetary donations for the acquisition of materials. To see
a list of our present needs, please see Legal Library.
