Another task of the Law Center is to offer Palestinian jurists (and also, when appropriate, political scientists, sociologists and educators), a venue where to think systematically and creatively about the problems and options relative to the unification of the West Bank and Gaza Strip legal systems, and to the modernization of Palestinian law in the light of the sociology of law and comparative legal studies.
With the legal compilation and databank as a starting reference point, researchers at the Law Center and the Palestinian Law Commissions can review all the laws in force in the West Bank and Gaza and suggest future legislative amendments to the Palestinian Legislative Council.
